The website had photos of the tent room but not of the deluxe room which was the only room available at that point. It wasnt up to the mark and had we seen photos of it, we would not have booked the room and moved to another hotel or waited for the tent room to be available.

The location of the property is just perfect. They have signboards at the first view of Lansdown and even right before the entry to the property.

One of the amazing stay in Lansdowne with beautiful view and spacious rooms. We rally enjoyed our stay. The service is very good. Food is amazing.

Room and its location. There was a smell coming into the room from outside. Could be a room with board Urinal. WiFi was not that great.

I am impressed with friendly support I got from staff as well as owner. They made my stay very comfortable subject to some challenges mentioned elsewhere. Location was good. Good place to relax.

The property can be a little more childproof. Grills on balconies and terraces and staircases are wide and easy to fall through for toddlers. Parents need to be alert. But this is a concern that only applies to families with toddlers.

Very neat and well-maintained rooms and bathrooms. Food was wonderful. Staff are exceptionally polite and helpful.

Bathrooms were very very small . Needs to think and work on this. One can hardly stand and bath.

Bar was closed, but claims to have oldest bar in the city. They are awaiting renewal of licence

Stay at Samskara was everything as expected and hoped for. Focus on cleanliness, good food and warm service. Hotel Manager Amit and our room service manager Himanshu were great and always greeted with a smile. We almost ate all meals over 3 days at the hotel as outside the options weren't that good and fortunately while menu is limited, they were always prepared fresh and on order. Our 5 yr old daughter generally very picky about her food also enjoyed the meals. They prepared bonfire over 2 nights with light music which added to the experience. They even have a small library and games available on request for good family time. Overall excellent stay with good memories. Thanks to Samskara And Samsara.

The hotel is at big height from the road so untrained driver could not able to take the vehicle to the hotel parking.

Almost everything

Ambience and staff. However, some people in the tent next were causing disturbances. Loud talk, loud music, and trying to get into a conversation in Bengali ( in a bad accent) which caused me tremendous irritation.

Approach needs regular cleaning and one signage at approach entry required

Breakfast was of good quality and location being flat compared to hill location with less ride and space available in the premise makes it very pleasant.

A little bit of entertainment activities should be organised for guest during evening/night. An effective Wi-Fi connection would have been a plus too.

A bit of a shame the bar was waiting for its license renewal at time of visit so wasnt open as the pub area and drinks menu looked brill.

Tents were great fun, loved the little balcony and view into the wilderness. Staff were excellent and the food too.
