Hotel had no lobby to speak of. Breakfast was basic. Erratic Wi-Fi. Noisy, being at the heart of New Market. Problem with cleanliness. Water leaking in bathroom. Switches and electrical outlets were faulty. Small TV. No tissue paper, etc.

Room size was excellent. Efficient staff. Bed was good. Had fridge and tea/coffee facilities in room. Excellent for local shopping and money exchange. The main attractions and the main entertainment area was nearly.

Not enough lights on the room, one side was completely darker. Bathroom exhaust fan was not working properly. Staff were not well behaved(typical kolkata people).

1.They were not interested to arrange complementary breakfast by 7:30am as had to check out to airport.So we had to leave without breakfast. 2. Though i mentoned the check-in time 12:00 during booking and got confirmation but after reaching there around 12:40pm, we did not find the room ready. After waiting for around 20 minutes, we were offered another ready room which we had to accept as our booked may take more time to get prepared.

1. At the checkin they asked unnecessary questions. 2. On asking them why they need to collect such detailed record, the staff was rude. 3. This hotel sucks. It is noisy, and surrounded by slum. 4. The staff is lousy, unprofessional and extremely unreasonable. They have no idea how to handle international guests. Please think twice before booking this.

The rooms were not clean. To elaborate, as soon as I entered my room I could smell cigarettes and being a non-smoker this was not pleasant. Secondly, there were little flies everywhere and on top of that the towels were very dirty they were anything but white.

The property is located amidst the bustling New Market so it made shopping quite easy.The staff were all friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The hotel manager even gave us free room upgrades.

I expected the hotel to have nice entrance with more lavish reception. But didn’t quite find that. But that doesn’t matter much when the service quality is so brilliant.

Their food, their behaviour, their location, their modern interior, their prompt and welcoming behaviour, their sense of responsibility.. Everything! I just loved staying there.

1. The entrance is is hard to find, narrow and dirty 2. Filthy, bad smelling tiny rooms. the toilet was used before but not even flushed. towels, bedsheets looked and smelled like hand washed (not fresh).
