AustraliaWe had a fantastic stay at this lovely Hotel Shanti Home. Our room was huge with lovely interiors and furniture especially the bed was well decorated and super comfortable. The views from roof top where we had our breakfast has spectacular view of Jaisalmer Fort. And the host Chimmy was exceptionally hospitable. The location was right in the center with atmospheric neighborhood and walking distance from main monuments of town. They also send us a rickshaw to pick us up from train station upon our arrival which was very helpful as our train was almost at midnight. A highly recommended place and we received best hospitality in India. Bravo!!

Our room also had a lovely carved stone balcony opening towards the front of the place. They serve superb breakfast on the terrace with comfortable furniture and view of the fort. The host was very informative and gave us good suggestions on restaurant and good shop for buying silver.

I really liked the hospitality of the owner and all staff. The rooms are clean, excellent breakfast and lovely view of Fort from roof top. The location is also very central and nearby to most of the monuments and Jaisalmer fort is just one minute walk from the Hotel. Overall a very good experience.

Owner help arranging cars for pick up and drop to airport which was really helpful. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable and shower was warm water made my stay comfortable. We loved our three days stay at Shanti Home, the building itself was like a little Haveli and the rooms are very clean and staff was very attentive. We loved delicious breakfast with amazing view of fort and sunlight. Prathmesh the owner helped us arranging local transport and airport pick up and drop. You must try their non touristic camel safari rather then tented safari in crowded Sam sand dunes.

IndiaIt's a very decent hotel with a rustic feel. The room was spacious enough and equipped with all the amenities. A tasty, home-like breakfast was served on the rooftop with a view of the Jaisalmer fort in the morning. Fort is just five minutes away from the hotel. There is also a market nearby. Gadisar lake is also within walking distance. The staff was very helpful with all our requests. Additionally, they provided us with a good itinerary and good food options. In case you check out early and want to wander around a bit, they also store luggage
