How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We had dinner and was very tasty. But service was late. Otherwise everything was okay. Location wise it is a bit inside from main road. Once you enter the premises it is very clean.

Our booking included breakfast but there was some confusion front desk tried to charge us for breakfast when we were checking out. It was sorted in the end though. The area around the hotel isn't great, but I think that's just general Patna.
Very clean and spacious room. Nice and quiet hotel. Good shower. The food is good. The staff waited up for us when we arrived very late at night due to a delayed train. Good wifi.

I loved the entire thing about this hotel, i was struggling to find a decent budgeted hotel in patna and than i found this and talked to Mr. Shahnavaz over the call before checkin and he is such a humble guy that he personally ensured that my trip goes hustle free and his hotel is so properly maintained, it even exceeded my expectation plus in a good location. some of the things i loved the most are a clean and comfortable room, the room cleaning staff and the other whole staff plus the room had a smart tv so me and my wife enjoyed the whole trip. Very much thanks to mr shahnavaz ji again for making my trip great and for being so polite and cooperative, trust me this hotel and the whole staff is 5 star level kind.

Not a lot nearby. Not easily locatable for rickshaw/taxi drivers - google maps and Ola advised
Relatively new hotel in quiet back street. Felt like a refuge from the commotion of Patna. Staff very helpful with travel arrangements for this non Hindi speaker. Very good restaurant

Grooming of some members of staff.
Room was very clean and comfortable. Have suggested a screen in the shower area to keep the bathroom area dry. This was well received by the front desk.

Meals,breakfast,cleanliness plus room service. Upkeep of rooms including bathrooms. Overall atmosphere was excellent. Parking space for vehicles. Quite surroundings.. About 2 km away from railway station. Must visit for good experience in new set up.

There is no laundry service available. Hope it will be available soon as it is a new hotel.
My husband and I were on a pilgrimage, and we planned to stay in Patna Sharda Residence for one night on the 19th December.. As my husband became sick that night, we needed to extend our stay till he got better and kept on extending for 3 nights. The operation manager Shahnawaz Ahmed was very accomodative and gave me all the support from finding the doctor to keeping us comfortable during our stay. From the chef to the room staff and the restaurant staff were all accomdative with all my husband's food requests. A special thanks to Ragul, Bipul, Saurav and every single staff member who were kind to us and helped us during our stay. The room staff accommodated all our cleaning requests without any delay. As a a new hotel, they have exceeded all our expectations. I would highly recommend Sharda Residency for its safety, cleanliness and for the kindness of the staff. The managed organized the transport to the airport without any hassle for us. As we were coming from overseas, it would have been very hard for us without the hotel staff and the managers help. I wish them all well and thank them from the bottom of my heart🙏🙏 It's a very clean and comfortable hotel to stay.

Linen is really bad quality. Beds are also not that comfortable. And there are no carpets also on the floor, which is difficult during winter
