How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was not ventilation in the toilet and there was a big hole in it where lots of mosquitoes came and bite us especially my son his face and body was overall swollen.
It’s near Taj Mahal a very walkable distance.

Great value for money, it is literally on the road to the Taj Mahal and a 10 minute walk away. The owner was really helpful, keeping the kitchen open late for us to have some food when we arrived at 10 pm. Would highly recommend this stay

This hotel is really close to Taj Mahal so it is very convenient to go to Taj Mahal at 6:00 when the gates open. i liked the inner courtyard of the hotel, Our room was basic and we had a good night's sleep. the staff was friendly. This hotel is excellent for one night's stay.

The pillows were bad, the bathroom smelled like pee and there were holes in our towels. The food was tasteless.

Food in the restaurant: breakfast was eatable, but the thali ordered for lunch was terrible, neither warm nor tasty; coffee had no coffee taste (i know that in general India is not the place for coffee lovers, but here it was more like diluted tea). AC was not working.
Very good location, very close to the Taj Mahal. Rooftop tarrace with the view on Taj available on request. Nice and kind workers at reception desk.

Excellent location, just a short walk to the Taj Mahal west gate and nearby restaurants. The staff (Atendra Verma) were also very friendly and helpful, letting us leave our luggage after check-out. Would recommend!

Bed not comfortable. Bathroom so so. The adjacent room is hearable.

The bathroom was a little dirty on arrival and the WiFi was a touch variable.
Brilliant location, walking distance from the Taj Mahal. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. It is basic but we were only here for one night and then up early to see the Taj so it served our purpose.

This was a good budget hotel that was comfortable for the price. It is right by the Taj Mahal and many of the nearby rooftop bars and restaurants and you can also get a good breakfast in the morning. The rooms could do with an update, but the staff were lovely - they were especially good when my partner got ill, bringing him honey ginger teas for free! Our room faced out on to the road and it could be noisy through the night with the call to prayer, local dogs, and tour groups going by for sunrise - bring some earplugs and tot it up to good local atmosphere.

The location is 5/5. Room is average but was clean. Bed was small. I preferred twin-beds. After check-in, I only changed the double bed to twin beds. They provided extra blanket too. Restaurant is good. Staff are friendly

It was run down, not very clean and I saw a few rats running down the corridors.
The place is very close to the west entrance to Taj Mahal. The food served was better than expected. If you are looking for luxury, this place isn't it. It's very basic, but a roof over my head for the night for an early start at the Taj Mahal was all that was required, luckily.

The staff are friendly, yet give you your space.. Sitting in the courtyard, being part of it all. Listening to the hectic world outside, as they make their way to a wonder of the world.
A 2 minute walk to the Taj Mahal. An oasis in the middle of chaos.. Everything is near by . Yes the room is basic.. but please see beyond.. the shower is hot, your safe warm and cocooned. With wonderful people,.

The cleanliness, heating for cold days and breakfast options could be improved, but for the low price you are really only paying for the location and it is well worth it.
Wonderful location for a short visit to the Taj Mahal. The hotel is so close to the Taj Mahal that the street where it is located is only for pedestrian use, so the car or tuk tuk cannot drop you right at the hotel, you will have to walk, but it is worth it.
