They did the best efforts. it would be self centered to point out the flaws that they did not have. If u have to make a little effort to reach this beautiful hotel, i suggest you make the effort! its good the way it is. #only flaw i would say it had: The AC was dripping water inside the room occasionally. This needs to be dealt with

i liked the facility as a whole. the private beach was in low tide so the water was quite distant. But still beautiful the road to the property was narrow. so cars could not pass to and from simultaneously. but still i did not feel it was a hassle. any beautiful place is secluded and requires effort. personal note to keep the island beautiful and clean: i encourage the travelers and the tourist to bring their own water bottles and fill them up from the dispenser instead of buying packaged drinking water#carry your own bags instead of plastic bags#you can return to the hotel and throw all your used wrappers.#carry your own bamboo/metal straw instead of using paper straws#let us all be sensible travelers

The breakfast and dinner services were very poor . There is an attitude problem with the staff as they were very abrupt and taking people for granted . Even simple things like tissue paper , cups , juices had runs out .

The linen were poor, there were no liquid handwash in the bathroom. The washroom in the dining area stinks like it’s never been cleaned. Food is not good and expensive. The property doesn’t have umbrellas, no proper first aid materials. The property also doesn’t provide WiFi if that is something which matters.

The property is pretty big, close to the Jetty. Staffs at the restaurant are nice.

Food was poor. Room was okay but does not worth 13000 a night. Max 3000-4000 is okay. Property is very old and managers operate it from Port Blair. It has good ocean view. Basic Room amenities such as geyser were non operational. Pool was very dirty. Overall this does not worth more than 5000 per day at max.

We had a very poor experience at Silver sands Neil island resort where we stayed for 2 nights—Dec 30 and Dec 31, 2021.To begin with, we were not given the rooms we had paid for. We were given a lower category room, and the rooms were not clean—it was dusty, I saw cobwebs and the linen was dirty. But what appalled us the most is the hygiene factors the hotel displayed especially during COVID times. None of the staff wore masks and there were no sanitizers in the rooms as per protocol. The worst shock we got was when the staff came to clean our rooms. The staff used a dust cloth to dust the table, chair, and other parts of the room and finally used the same cloth to clean the inside of the kettle, teacups, glasses and spoon. Silver sands Neil island standards are quite low. We stayed in other hotels in Andaman and all of them were quite good, except Silver sands Neil island. I hope the management looks into these issues.

This is a terrible hotel! It's overpriced, has terrible service and food, and the rooms are dirty. I really regret booking this hotel. I don't know how they haven't shut down. Forget COVID norms and precautions, they don't even adhere to basic standards of hygiene in this hotel. Here are the details: - Rooms were dirty and disgusting! The sheets were not changed and had stains on them (See picture). Also, the room was filled with mosquitoes and lizards. The fridge constantly made loud noises that sounded like a generator when switched on. When we asked the staff to look into the matter or change the mini-fridge, they said it's because the fridge is kept inside an enclosed/ encased cabinet. But isn't that how all hotels keep mini-fridges in the rooms? They then suggested that we keep the door to the cupboard open - which would leave no room to walk in across the room. I have a video as proof of this, but unfortunately, booking.com allows only photos to be uploaded here, so I can't upload the video. Anyway, they basically didn't help with it till we spoke to the Manager. - Bathroom is spacious but was again dirty. There was fungus on the ceiling! See picture. - Food was terrible and inedible. On our first day here, we ordered 2 teas and 1 sandwich for snacks. After an hour the restaurant called to say that they can't prepare it because they are busy preparing for the dinner buffet. - Service does not exist. Some of the staff try to help, but the hotel just does not have the basic facilities nor the capacity to provide services that guests need. We had initially booked our stay for 3 nights here but had to check out earlier and book another hotel last minute so that our new years holiday is not ruined here.
