AustraliaThe place is getting old and starting to look a little worn. We find that a lot of hotels in India have small bathrooms - even the more expensive hotels. This was the same, and bathroom layouts are not well done. Staff at check-in were polite, but not friendly. Taxi booked for us would not fit the baggage for the 4 of us even though we had mentioned it needed to be big enough for all 4 of us + baggage, and a shoulder bag each. Note: 3 of us have baggage small enough to be considered 'carry on' baggage for flights, but I still carried one of those on my knees to the airport.
Food was good in hotel restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and did his job well. Shower in room was hot (often not the case in many Indian hotels). Room service was reasonably prompt. Wasn't much else we really liked. It was a little below expectation, but not too bad.
