Ankit was an amazingly welcoming host! My partner and I enjoyed our time at Soul‘Stay a lot. We slept well in our room with a comfortable bed, airy with a ventilator and an AC, a good bathroom and windows protected against mosquitoes. After our early morning at Taj Mahal, Ankit made a fresh smoothy bowl with nuts and granola for us (a list of breakfast options against a small charge provided). Exceptional was that we were also able to participate in a mediation / sound bath session facilitated by Ankit. He also gave us good recommendations for restaurants/bars, specifically The Molecule, an open air rooftop bar with good Indian food.

Ankit & Lahar are such friendly, open and generous hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and getting to know them and the other guests over cups of tea. Ankit & Lehar gave us good local recommendations and even went out of their way to provide an amazing sound bath for all of us that were staying. We would strongly recommend staying at Soul’Stay instead of one of the many chain hotels in the area if you are looking for an intimate and spiritual experience. Our bedroom was very comfortable and even had its own balcony. The breakfast was also delicious, make sure to have Lahar’s cheelas and banana pancakes!

Ankit and Lahar were amazing hosts and really made us feel at home! We loved how welcoming they were and the great atmosphere of the house (the decoration is beautiful). We totally enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it. Our visit to Agra became not just about the Taj Mahal, but about connecting with other people and sharing experiences. Everything was perfect. We enjoyed time with Ankit and Mahi, had so interesting talks and enjoyed a lovely dinner. They even prepared my favourite dish, paalak paneer! And it was deliciuous.

Soul'Stay is a true homestay. Our hosts Laher and Ankit welcomed us with warmth and affection. The rooms are spotless, the living room area with couches and bookshelf a calm place to contemplate, communicate and to wind down from the constant input of impressions. I loved everything about my stay. It would be my first choice location to stay if I returned to Agra.

The room and property are a lovely and quiet oasis from the noise of Agra. It was clean, beautifully designed and incredibly peaceful. The hosts were warm and respectful, and I felt safe there.

The host and hostess were a nice couple who looked after us very well. I got a feeling that we were staying at home with our friends. The bedroom and the bathroom were very clean and neat. The common area was very elegantly done and a good place to sit and enjoy yourself with the other guests. I would really recommend the place for couples and family.

I loved everything but I have a little recommendation for improvement: As there is no regular yoga classes etc. maybe the work retreat center can be a little confusing/misleading. I didn’t mind as I wasn’t well when I visited but I think I would have expected some practices. It was all perfect the way it was tho 🪷🙏🏽

We loved EVERYTHING about it! The hosts are the kindest people, super social, easy going and open minded. We felt welcome and looked after straight away. The rooms are all super esthetic and clean. Lovely and calm place. Clean rooms wit a lovely balcony. Perfect to relax a few days, but also really close to everything. Real guesthouse. The owners are mostly around and are always very helpful, open and really nice. Comunication was very good. Outstanding place in India that I can fully recommend. I would always come again.

Once we felt the welcoming vibe of Soul'Stay shining through the photo on their online listing, we knew this was where we wanted to stay in Agra. Lahar & Ankit clearly have put a lot of thought and effort into creating a comfortable and nourishing space. In fact, after our morning visiting the Taj Mahal, we opted to cancel our afternoon sightseeing and spend the rest of the day resting and chatting with our hosts. They were both eager and willing to share our different -- and not so different -- cultures. They easily arranged for a masseuse to come to us. We also opted for the in-house mediation session led by Ankit. Besides providing us with information on the interesting options for our sightseeing in Agra, they told us about all their favorite places in Jaipur, our next stop. We not only enjoyed getting to know the other couple staying there, we were lucky enough to be there when Ankit's parents stopped by for a quick visit. Stop looking through the listings ... Soul'Stay is what you're looking for.

The location is perfect! We were looking for a nice place for a long time but couldn’t find a place which aligns with our taste. But thankfully we stumbled upon this property and the whole experience was nothing but exceptional!

From the moment we stepped in to Soul'Stay we felt at peace. Lahar and Ankit are fabulous hosts, they attended to our every need. The first night they took us to Sadar Bazar for some amazing street food. They ordered their favorites and things they wanted us to try and we all stood around in the chaos sharing each small plate of Indian deliciousness. My friend and I gave up a half day of sightseeing to stay in the home and relax. They brought in a masseuse for me, we colored mandalas, and they made meals and even golden milk for us. It was a wonderful time staying at Soul'Stay. Their homestay is very close to Taj Mahal, it's very clean, they have filtered water to drink, the food is good, and the conversation is warm. I hope to return some day.
