The staff was very rude. Never seen such a rude staff. Especially the waiters in resturant.

Too many mosquitoes. Toilet walls need to be scrubbed more often for accumulated scum on them.

I loved the stay, however a very small concern is that it had mosquitoes. I understand that it's an open area and a river nearby that attracts mosquito but hotel can do something about it.

it is in the quiet part of the city far away from the river it costs a lot of money to get anywhere wishing there was a regular bus 3 times a day to the ghats the nose in the garden from the wedding parties

the cool surroundings the gardens the old royal style the photographs and of course the masala omelette and the masala tea the staff are very pleasant

I tried to book a taxi from the BSB train station , a 5 minutes distance by car , and through whatsapp correspondence they asked me for almost double price of the pricing list that I found in the room . Asking price : for small car 700/, For big car 900/ In the room I found a list (see the photo) for transportation from this pick up point 400 rules which made me feel scammed once more in India.

The room was clean and comfortable.

Food spread was good, but quality can be improved. Also a bit overpriced for the facilities available.

The hotel is spacious, open lawn and avg sized rooms, comfortable beds. Good and accessible location in cantt area, if prefer to stay away from old city hustle. On last day my early morning train got delayed, hotel allowed me to re checkin without any issue. Thanks to the management for that.

Swimming pool facilities could have been better especially in cold weather . Breakfast option were repeated same with limited option.

Located near market area but still calm & adorable . Good & tasty food 😋 to enjoy . Cleanliness is maintained with friendly staff. Breakfast is allowed inside and outside terrace which is fun in cold weather.

The bedroom without balcony are poorly ventilated the corridors to the bedrooms also have this issue and Wi-Fi signals were very low for our room on the top floor.

The balcony bedrooms were good and had proper ventilation. The bathroom was also clean and had vanity kits they don’t have fizzy slippers though. The breakfast at hotel was also good with multiple options to choose from. Overall a decent hotel for the price point.

It took an hour or so to get an extra bed that was prebooked and informs in advance. Rooms are not comfortable for they are lacking any sort of natural life, rooms are humid and it’s always sticky.

Good decent spread of breakfast. Rooms are lacking ventilation or any scope for sunlight and despite of the AC running all the time it was sweaty and humid inside. House keeping staffs are decent, helpful, doing their things with a smile. Reception staffs are quite occupied. Rooms are as good as any two star three star rooms.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. We had been told the pool would be open for when we arrived but it wasn’t which was very disappointing as one of the reasons we booked. Had we known we would have cancelled. Communication with the hotel was poor. Poor or no response to messages sent via booking.com and despite two calls to a Mr Singh no airport transfer was confirmed. One did actually turn up but after we had paid for own taxi. Frustrating.

Rooms were spacious and recently renovated. The bar was good and served a wide range of food and bar snacks, good value for the price.

Hotel needs to renovate primarily the rooms including the washrooms. They also need to upload right images of the rooms rather than the image of one bigger room they have in luxury category as except that one room all other room in the category are smaller.

Bathrooms need to be upgraded. it seems old and little dirty.

Breakfast was sumptuous with good variety. Food at Royale Cantone Restaurant is very good with well behaved staff. Property is having ample parking. Also it has its own lawn.
