We had ordered a room with 3 beds, it should have had a double and single bed, but when we arrived it only had a double bed. We said the room stated 3 beds, as I was travelling with a friend. They said they would put in another bed, but it was only a very small camp bed with a thin old foam mattress, really not suitable for an adult and for the price range we were paying. We were also not told beforehand that we would have to walk to the hotel from a main road, as cars cannot go directly to the hotel because of the location. We ended up walking for 30 minutes from where our taxi driver dropped us off. In the confirmation from the hotel, they should give exact drop off location as there was a nearer one. We were also not informed earlier that the hotel would have met us to help us with our luggage. When we arrived they said they were trying to whatsapp call me, but of course I had no wifi whilst travelling and walking through the streets. They need to provide this information beforehand. It's a shame as was a stressful start to the holiday as it was dark when we arrived, so not pleasant for two women to be walking around lost with luggage. However, we had a lovely time at the hotel, just a shame for lack of information on location and also room not equipped with 3 beds as was specified when we booked.

Beautiful building with lovely views of the Ganges. The food was exceptional and staff at breakfast and dinner really lovely. Evening music entertainment was a lovely bonus.

location was perfect, overlooking River Ganges. Room spacious and clean. Meals were varied and very tasty. The design of hotel was great - courtyard where you could eat out in the open. The flat roof was the best way to view the Ganges, and to have your evening meal - fantastic.

The approach to the hotel is not through boat as mentioned in their ad. 5 mins walk through streets of Varanasi to reach hotel. Breakfast was ok. Not many options. Caters more to foreign tourists. Not many local dishes.

We were allotted a 'Room with a View'. Unfortunately, the view from the room is nothing to write about. However, there are other areas in the property which have do have a nice view.

The property is very well located. One cannot ask for more in Banaras. Very helpful and polite staff.

The rooms on level 2 do not have large windows. Rather, they are small and rectangular and lower. The windows are all on level 1 only.

Cordial and polite staff. Speedy check-in process. Large and spacious rooms. Good ambience. A small balcony (with sitting space) over-looking Ganga river made for some great views. Food was good. The Guide provided by the property - Sanjay - was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The walk to the hotel especially if you have luggage, although the hotel staff were really kind and efficient in providing the service of carrying the luggage from wherever you are parked to the hotel, this means managing it by coordinating it with them in advance. Worked for us but need to be aware of this.

The location was perfect, along the river Ganga making it super accessible to walk around the Ghatts. The breakfast spread was also really good and the staff were super helpful in ensuring we had a good experience while stating there.

Again, the restaurant was vegetarian only. While the food is amazing, I find it hard to feel full without eating some meat, Wi-Fi did not work in the room.

The hotel facilities were interesting. You have dinner surrounded by a giant tree acting as a roof, the rooms are absolutely massive, clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I would not recommend paying the extra cost for the River view room because the window is very small and located at waist level, which means you must sit down in front of the window to look out. Note that the hotel restaurant only serves vegetarian dishes and no alcohol (meat and alcohol are very rare throughout the city).

Overall good location with easy walking along the River. Building is well-keep with a great rooftop patio to enjoy the Ganga River view. The air conditioning in the room was great.
