We had a great stay in a double room that opened on to the lovely terrace with brilliant views of surrounding Agra. Clean room with en suite, AC and everything we needed. Breakfast was decent, water, drinks and beers also available. The staff were very friendly and so helpful, especially when we had to get a late night bus to Varanasi but couldn’t work out where it left from. The staff helped negotiate with our taxi driver and found the right area on the map for us. Plus able to leave our bags in a locker all day even after we’d checked out! This was a big help. This family-run hostel was one of the nicest ones I’ve stayed in in India. My friend and I had such a lovely evening here, we were taken such good care of by staff, from food to local recommendations and interesting conversations. The room was also a lot more spacious and comfortable as the pictures suggest, would 100% return.

Would be nice if they had female only dorms but the mixed dorms are manageable since the beds have curtains

Could use some fresher linens and bed was a little stiff but it was fine for a few nights.

We stayed at the Taj Street Hostel for four nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very basic, but it was great for its close proximity to the Taj and they serve food at the restaurant that we tried a couple times. The staff was super helpful and arranged Taj tickets, laundry, and Delhi transport for us.

The room was very spacious and all the utilities were modern and working fine. The bed was very comfortable, there was a desk, perfect to work with my laptop and towels were provided. The owner was very kind and helpful, answering to any query and they gave us a room ready as soon as we arrive, at 5am. Awesome! WiFi was very good. Tan Mahal was just 10 mins walking, so easy to reach by foot. Amazing terrace

We were really happy with the Taj Street Hostel. The location could not have been better, a short walk to the Taj Mahal. The food was good - the agra special breakfast in particular was excellent. The room was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Really good value.

Owner is super nice!! Customer oriented and good at comunicación who is willing to help solve the issues you might have. He picked me up directly when the Uber driver only can dropped me off a few meters away. A safe , quiet and clean place. Very close to Taj Mahal ( within 10 min walk )Highly recommend !!!!

Sometimes tuktuks cant get to the front door. If that happens ask them to navigate to oberoi hotel which is more well known and from there it is a 2 min walk !

Bed was a little on the hard side. Not a criticism of the property itself, but because of its proximity to the Taj, in order to get a taxi or TukTuk you had to walk c. 10 mins to the East Gate parking lot.

EXTREMELY helpful staff (when our train from Varanasi was very delayed, they went out of their way to help us - organising a taxi to take us the 11-hour drive to Agra at 1am within 10-20mins and stayed on the line to make sure we connected with the driver, it was quite frankly nothing short of a miracle). On the property front - room was spacious, budget but equipped with everything you might need. Location was ideal, a 10 min walk to the Taj gate. On site food available, and could sort beer for us on request.
