Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaVery old property. Not much done to maintain. Chipped floor, old furniture, unclean wall in the bathroom, housekeeping not properly supervised, and so on. No proper platform at the wash basin. There is one, but too small. Housekeeping did not bother to check whether essential things required in the bathroom were replenished or not. There was no body wash in the dispenser. The Senior Manager was very responsive when I gave my feedback and explained that they had taken up renovation of rooms. Also, he immediately acted in response to my feedback. My feeling was that it is no value for money.
Reasonable spread. Location is ok. Senior staff was very accommodative.

GermanyThe hotel is certainly past its “prime” and the furniture is run down. Unfortunately we discovered dirty linen and cockroaches upon arrival. This was late and we flagged it. The next day a deep clean was meant to be done; athough this might have been the case, we found cockroaches again.

IndiaThey actually don't have Hospitality . Yesterday I called then to pack my breakfast tiffin in morning since I have to check out for my flight at 6.45 am. They said ok mam, no problem Even it was set that I will get 2 idlis & 1 sandwich. Wen I went to reception for clearance in morning, the reception said, no v won't give you as v start by 7.30 . Since it was their commitment at last night weather the breakfast start by 7.30 they will pack my good so that I won't suffer. But actually they are il mannered people who don't have idea that a person is going empty stomach. I got my food at noon 5 pm since I was travelling from far place and usually due to health issues, doctor don't recommend me outside unhealthy food & my health was also not gud due to eating outside good from past 4 days. Bathroom is also very bad & hotel is too old actually. There are so many insects too. Although room service is gud. I don't recommend this hotel
