The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the wonderful host, Elivia. She made me feel incredibly welcome and at home, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. In fact, I started referring to Tamasha as my home during my stay. All in all, my stay at Tamasha Udaipur was a delightful experience. The place is exceptionally at good location with great view of lake pichola, staff is humble and the owner is very hospitable and very welcoming. You get a good resting place at the cafeteria with good read, comfortable seating and indoor games, main usp is that you can never get bored of the lake view. Everything is near by, hardly 5 mins walk to major food joints like jheel cafe, TWG etc, city palace is 2 mins walk and gangaur ghat is in close vicinity. One really doesn't need any mode of commutation and can enjoy the old city walk with street market.

It was amazing experience I had here with my friends ..warm welcome by elevia and they have a beautiful rooftop u can chilli there for whole day and food is amazing there and u can watch whole city view from the top and rooms are clean ...very close to the city centre every thing is walkable distance..staff are very helpful and they organise tours of city from the hostel and overall it was a perfect stay for me also recommended must come and see u soon Tamasha...❤️

We loved everything - when there was something we needed Elivia quickly fixed it, Rohit was always ready to help, the people and community is what makes this place.

We had the best stay at Tamasha - booked for 1 night but ended up staying a whole week! Excellent location - right next to City Palace. This is the place toe be!!! Spent a lot of time on the rooftop with incredible views of the lake. Elvia and Rohit are both amazing and are people that I won’t forget and always remember when thinking of India! Wifi worked great, we work online so it was great to get some work done! Elivia even organized a projector for us so we could watch our team play in the rugby world cup on the big screen! She even held a surprise birthday party for me with a cake 1 week before my birthday the night before we left! I love the cozy and intimate feeling of the hostel, it really feels like home!

It has potential of becoming top notch hostel. Everything was superb. As it is a new hostel, i hope more people gets to know about it. Because it is indeed one of the best Hostel with great hospitality i ever stayed at.

1. Dorm Rooms were a bit small in size, i think it was an old construction so not sure if anything can be done w.r.t. that. 2. The bathroom was even smaller with the washbasin being put in the dorm room because of the space issue. Again issue with the building construction. 3. The shower in the bathroom was faulty and was sprinkling water anywhere but where intended. Hosts have confirmed it will be resolved though. 4. The door of the bathroom was jammed because of the rainy season, thereby it was not lockable. Again hosts have confirmed they are already on it. Besides, they offered me a different bathroom for shower to make me feel safe and heard. Much appreciated. 5. Blankets in the room were subpar. Have suggested the host to improve on that. 6. Food at the hostel kitchen was not that good. I hope they find a better chef soon. 7. The room didn't have any storage for the luggage.

1. The location was perfect. Just next to the city palace, facing the lake. Easy access to all the main places by walk. 2. The hosts were very welcoming, Elivia guided me a lot throughout my stay w.r.t. places to visit and things to do. 3. Hostel plans trips to a lot of unexplored places of Udaipur which add to the charm. 4. The view from the hostel is beautiful as it is facing the lake pichola. Day time has the water and hills in view making it look straight out of a scenery and nighttime the glittering lights at the ghats and other hotels with cool udaipur breeze and soft music in the background makes it very serene. 5. Wifi at the hostel was good, I think for people who would like to staycation it should be fine. 6. Bathrooms had hot water working. 7. Rooms were cleaned regularly, in fact there was this big rainstorm that was there during my stay, it left the common areas with loads of water but the staff worked on clearing it immediately. Kudos to the housekeeping. 8. AC Cooling was good. 9. The stay cost me next to nothing. 10. It's a new hostel with host, Elivia, being the manager herself, so they are improving everyday and taking feedback very positively and making their best attempt to make every guest fall in love with udaipur to the extent that she herself is in. So 1 extra point for that.

Tamasha is more than good view, it has redefined the term hospitality. They have the best tour packages to the best unexplored places. Elivia and staffs are superb. Everyone is so welcoming , they make you feel like part of the family. Udaipur is special because of Tamasha.

I really consider Tamasha as a home away from home in Udaipur. Elivia is the best host I could have! I had so much fun with everyone and thanks to her, I discovered local places that I wouldn’t visit by myself. Also the hostel is very well located, the view and the food are amazing. Tamasha is one of the finest places to stay while visiting Udaipur. It's located right at the heart of the city with easy access to many of the main tourist places. The host, Elivia, was extremely friendly and helpful and made the stay all the more pleasant and memorable. Also, the place has an amazing amazing view❤️😍. Would totally recommend it.
