Very clean and welcoming rooms, the family will make you feel at home and help with whatever you may need and always with a smile. I wouldn’t go anywhere else in Bodhgaya! ( bonus fact, they mange a school for some kids in need. Your money will serve good purposes )

The location has pros and cons. It's in a residential neighbourhood, good for interacting with locals. However, it's a bit far away from the city centre and its temples (30-35min walking), and there were no restaurants nearby.

The room was comfy and clean. The owners and the family that lives there are nice and helpful. They let us check-in very early with no extra charges.

We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.

The water pressure of the shower was sometimes too weak. The food I had there was not so good. I suggest that you eat at restaurants nearby.

The staff were very friendly and informative. It had a strong Wi-Fi. It is located in a tranquil area. The price was affordable. The room was clean.

We were made to feel so welcome at Tara Guest house, they looked after us so well. They fed us a delicious breakfast each morning and had such interesting conversations with different members of the beautiful family running this guest house. The room was spacious, very clean and with perfectly running AC. Anuj took us to see his free school, which the guest house helps to support. It's a really wonderful mission that he's got in place. Thanks so much for hosting us so lovingly. I highly recommend visiting this place if you're in Bodh Gaya.

The welcome was like a real family. They helped us with everything we needed and even my wife had a bad stomach and they gave her some medicine and they prepared some meals so that she could recover and she recovered. I am very grateful to them and also for the work they are doing in this world. People like the hosts of the guest house are needed, helping those most in need. In this case with the school they have set up to welcome the most disadvantaged children in the region and thus give them a new opportunity. For me it is a greater pleasure to be able to stay in a place like this, apart from having all the comforts that we needed and was incredible clean, to also be able to help their project with the money from our stay.

Everything was so lovely and I felt like I was part of the family for the few days I was there. The room was clean and pleasant and the fan was sufficient even in the heat. The food the family cooked was amazing and I felt very safe and at home here. The family let me check out late also, as I had a night bus. They made sure I got to the bus safe in the evening. 100% recommend

You arrive like to a family place. All of the members are so friendly and ready to help. The best place to stay! The location is not far away from the Bodhgaya center. A lot of rikshas can be found near by. The guest house runs a school for children so by staying here you are helping them to run their project!
