Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IndiaStaff communication was not great, with serious and limited/no talk. We used to ask daily to provide Towel, Soap and water bottle. They did not provide Shampoo and Toilet Rolls (though the stand was available). This had included breakfast. They did not have buffet breakfast in their own hotel, they supplied breakfast from nearby small hotel which was amounting to Rs.40/- per person. They demanded extra money for adding another breakfast item.
Room space was good, nearer to main road.

United KingdomWiFi was down for about 8hrs and the staff was rude when we complained about the WiFi not working. As it was no their problem to resolve soon. I had to do remote working and without WiFi and poor mobile connection was very difficult to work on. And the staff was also not keen on resolving it soon.
Location was good and close to the airport. Room was clean and comfortable.

IndiaNever ever stayed property like this in my life. Room is so small which was not expected. It may have compromised but their is no any facility like hot water cattle, No breakfast facility we had to eat un hygienic food from the street vendors which they supplied for one day out of two days. For two person they supplied only one water bottle in a day (Surprised ). Manager is so Third class that he told me to complain Feb Express . BHai we are there we do not know anything he should assist us. what he saved form this. Return My Money and stop other people to stay there and for another such review.

Polandgle Worst experience I’ve ever had. I booked a hotel room and when we came in rude guy at the desk said there is only one room out of 2 available. When we asked if we can use it for 4 of us just to take a shower (we had another flight 3 hours later, and we paid for this room!) he changed his mind and said there is no room available. Such a ridiculous situation. I asked about manager, because I thought he didn’t understand what I say and he simply said no. We had to go back to the airport and wait instead of refresh in a room we booked. Terrible.

IndiaI had booked a hotel via booking.com weeks ago my stay dates at fabhotel Mumbai. On the day I arrived at the hotel location, there was no hotel and I had to get down with luggage in the middle of no where. To top it, I was fatigued after a long trip and was feeling unwell. After multiple calls to fabhotels, they connected me to the hotel receptionist who mentioned that the hotel is not near the pin and a bit away and while he has my booking, he has no rooms and asked me to do my own arrangements abruptly ending the the call. I called up Fabhotels who mentioned that they will provide me another stay at another location for which I had to figure another way of commute and when I reached the new location I was asked to pay extra as the cost of that hotel was more. The hotel staff was Unempathetic, gave me a room with no hot water and a roof leakage. When asked for a refund for the pathetic service, they mentioned they aren't responsible as it's under booking.com
