There’s a couple of drawbacks, first of all the hardness of the beds: in my room, it was just like sleeping on a wooden table. You need to ask for a second bed linen, because there is only one. The other thing that I personally regretted, is the lack of natural light in the rooms, since they overlook the courtyard, so you always need to keep the lamp on, but this is definitely a minor problem, compared to the bed.

Best things of this guesthouse are the nice sitout and roof terrace, but most of all is the perfect position, away from the horribly spoiled main roads of Khajurāho and instead at one side of the quiet and genuine village of Khajurāho. When you go to the temples, take a walk through the nice and coloured streets of the village, where locals will greet you with a smile instead of assaulting you trying to sell you something or imploring to visit their shops (where, by the way, be sure to pay not more than 40% of the starting price!).

Didn’t find any negatives overall awesome experience

Stayed there for 6 nights. Rooms were pretty clean in a nice locality and at walkable distance from the western group of temples. Overall very good experience at a reasonable cost.

The Highvill Home stay has been a surprise. From the pick up at the Airport to the end of my stay everything has been perfect. The staff and Manish in particular make the difference,they are ready to satisfy every request or need and fix It. The food is delicious,the perfume of incense everywhere,the tea,the atmosphere. I sincerely recommend it, thanks Manish for the welcome,help and advices.

A peaceful place in a quiet side street with a friendly neighbourhood in walking distance to the most of the sights. The green courtyard with its colourful flowers and small pond is a perfect place to relax. Just topped by the beautiful rooftop, where you can also have yoga lessons in the morning. The room was super clean and had a large bathroom. Such a cleanliness I never have experienced before in India. Mukesh and Manish are exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful. They do their very best to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. All food is tasty and prepared freshly. Best place to stay in Khajuraho!

None, all was perfect!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Highvill Homestay. The rooms are very clean, there is a nice rooftop where you can chill and you can enjoy breakfast/lunch/diner based on pre-order. In addition to that, Mukesh and Manish are more than willing to assist you with everything you need - such as laundry, safaris to Panna Tiger Reserve, or just with exploring the surroundings on scooter. I can highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our 4 day stay here. Mukesh was the most kind and attentive host. He did everything to make sure our stay was perfect. The place is so peaceful. The rooms are extremely clean and are very comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious, we ate in every night and looked forward to each meal. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone.

If you want simple and exceptionally clean place then this place is for you. Owner was very kind and helpful. Main temples are 15-20 minutes walk. He arranged to pickup from railway station. Home cooked food was excellent. Laundry service was also provided ( fee). They have a beautiful courtyard, a fish pond with flowers and many plants. The owner kept it very clean.

Very peacefull and reaxing place. In walking distance to the main group of temples (the western temples). The room is very clean and large. The owner helps you with anything you need and cooks for you.

I didnt like that when I changed the date of my stay they doubled the rate and did not tell me. When I questioned this they said it was booking.com who had doubled the price.

This is a great place! Don't hesitate to book. This place is super clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious room, nice terrace- and in a good location. It's situated in a quiet place in the village, about 10 minutes walk to the Western group of temples. The hosts are really great people, very helpful and accomodating with everything. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to come again.

Just amazing! The staff helps you with everything and are super nice. Romeo is tireless, he helps you with everything and even goes with you to everywhere. Good breakfast and good dinner also. The place is comfortable, clean and everyone was so helpful.

Nothing it was all brillant

Everything!!! This was one of the best and most comfortable places we stayed in on our trip around India. I was extremely ill when I arrived and they could not do enough for me. The guys were so helpful. People ran about calling the doctor and getting medication etc. They cooked me some plain food. The homestay is also one of the cleanest places we stayed in india. Better than some of the 5 star hotels! It has a very homely feel and a lovely courtyard. The guys are happy to chat if you want and speak excellent English. They will help you arrange any trips or get you anything you need. They got all our laundry done for us as well. I cannot reccomend this place any more highly they were totally excellent!

Very beautiful hostel 🥰 Welcoming staff : family hostel (specialy Romeo who helps you for visiting the temples : Kama Sutra temples in Western aera... Amazing 🤗, waterfalls and show you local traditions)... Perfect for solo travelers (I was with an english woman who enjoys this place and Indian family). The staff prepare you delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner (Fresh foods 🍌🍕🍗🥗🍛☕🍵...) For a excellent quality/price... Enjoy your meal 😋 The place to be in India 🇮🇳
