We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesTransportation --- autorickshaws not easily available Location --- Gaya and Bodhgaya are many km away, nothing of interest within walking distance (walking is difficult since hotel is on a slightly busy road with no sidewalk) Room --- occasional power failures lasting ~ a minute each, room not up to global (US, Japan, Europe) standards (this was NOT a problem for us and should not be a issue for most Indian travelers -- however, some foreign visitors may be disappointed)
Location --- near the airport (not walkable, but ~ 5 minute drive --- location shown on booking.com map is wrong, actual location can be found at other websites), hotel is very quiet Transportation --- car available for rent with driver Staff --- very helpful Food --- OK Room --- spacious, comfortable, hot water available 24 hrs, cleanliness very good by Indian standards

JapanThere was no staff in the morning. Statement of 24 hours front desk was false. I could not take hot shower because of that for more than one hour. Hardware was good enough but taking the "service" and access to the sightseeing place into consideration this high price is not worth.
