We didn’t realise until we arrived that the apartments in the Residence are all smoking apartments. When we got to our apartment there was a strong smell of smoke. I went down to the hotel reception and had to spend quite some time explaining and justifying my concerns with the smell of smoke (we have young children and it is not appropriate for them or us to be inhaling that smoke). They showed us alternate rooms (at first one bedroom apartments which was not acceptable as we had booked a two bedroom apartment) and we finally found one which had less of a smokey smell. Worth noting that the Residence part of the hotel is not as luxurious as the hotel rooms are but cost much more!!

The apartments in the Residence were very spacious and the location is great as it’s so close to the hotel. The room service was great. It took 30 minutes as promised and the mutter paneer was delicious! My daughters really enjoyed the tarka dal too.

The shower leaks water on the floor and it becomes very slippery.

Breakfast amazing. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Nice and attentive staff. We asked for an extra towel which came quickly.

Concierge service is poor. Despite having airport transfer as part of the deal, the concierge told me on the phone prior arriving that I had to pay… not just this time but in November 23 too. Only after checking up, despite looking at the booking prior discussion, that he called back later to say that it was free. Even after booking transfer to airport on leaving directly at the concierge desk prior breakfast, with a time allotted, not only was the concierge missing from the desk but when one eventodid turn up, he didn’t seem to know anything about the transfer! Finally thanks to the receptionist transfer was rebooked and lost more than 20 minutes as a result. Snacks in lounge aren’t brilliant. On the first day we were told by the staff who mostly seem to lack training, that cocktails were not served but only beer and spirits, but next day at least Sahil seemed to be efficient and prepared a couple of cocktails. On booking. Com website it mentioned cocktail hours. Also on same website it mentioned it was 6 pm to 8 pm. Whereas past over 6 months or more it was cut short to 6.30-8 pm. This should be amended. Swimming pool area tables need clearing more frequently.

The staff were inflexible Airport is very close so no taxis usually want to come but the cost of hotel transport is exorbitant for such a short distance ! Many rooms were empty but they were not ready to extend our stay for half a day at a reasonable rate! We checked out at 12 noon and our flight was at night!

The hotel being so close to the airport charges for pick up and dropff. This should be a free service. Also management must respond timeously to requests. The Uber service for a large car with airconditioner was 25% of what the hotel wanted to charge. This leaves a bitter taste for guests. Getting a cab that charged a fair rate even for short trips was a challenge. When the cab is called by hotel staff they quote 3 times higher than the Uber rate. I advise guests to use Uber to avoid being ripped off.

The room was spacious and comfortable. We did find dust fluff which we were told was from the airconditioner. Management must take note of this and have the filters cleaned more regularly. The bedding, linen, towels etc were great. The bathroom was clean and comfortable.
