The food is average to below average. so many items on the buffet for lunch and dinner - none of it any good. focus on a reduced item list with authentic taste

I only could use the terrace of my sea-view room with ear plugs because there was a very loud ventilation under the roof of the main house. The terrace is very nice, but next time I only would book a room far away of the main building.

We felt like every extra charge (bar, restaurant, taxies, etc.) was highly overpriced (more the 4 times higher then regular price for some things) and that gave us a very bad and bitter feeling as we already paid a lot for the room itself. The pool maintenance level was low (the water was clean, though) And we had an overall feeling that we didn't get the best value for our money.

The view is great, and the room was very clean and well equipped. The gym was nice. The staff is very nice, welcoming and helpful.

Leela standards no longer visible. Raviz is doing a very poor job of running this hotel. Very poor and disorganised spa. Single restaurant even with high occupancy of hotel. Bare concrete floors and zero decor for the unattractive open-air bar. Glass-top tables in lobby covered with white film from a stained wipe. Floor around this table was also having a lot of grime and unswept. Breakfast items ordered at the live station don’t come to the table unless reminded and then served cold. Lastly, the exterior walls for the villas are plain ugly and not in sync with the timeless classic spun out by Charles Correa for the main building. No effort at soft furnishings in the room. The chair looked like it was stripped of upholstery, the canework chaise had no cushions for comfortable seating, bed was plain white with not even a runner. TV could not be watched from bed and we had to lift and turn it carefully to watch at an angle. Three steps between the bed area and the bathroom is very inconvenient and dangerous during the night as no nightlight provided.

Great location and stunning architecture. Lawns are kept immaculate and look lovely at the beach villas. This is a property with great potential if run correctly.

Its one on the worst culinary experience we ever got from a Five star Hotel/Resort We arrived on 29th tried lunch buffet. It was average The international food exept Japanese is one onthe worst we had Dinner we tried ala carte. It was good Next day morning breakfast was just average Lunch we tried room service Wr ordered Biriyani. It was one or the worst Biriyani we ever had Dinner we ordered appam and chicken curry Appam was vert sweet and chicken curry its made with boiled frozen chicken in curry gravy Hakka noodles and chicken chilly was awesome Last day breakfast it was bellow average Dosa was sweet. Taste like pancake Cant compare this with any other Leela Not even a std of 3 star hotel

Transport offered by hotel to Trivandrum was quite costly. Was not easy getting an auto or uber to come pick up atthe hotel due to some anti-competition practice by the local taxi operators.

Service staff were exceptional. Check in and check out were a breeze. They switched us from a non-lift floor to one that has because my mother-in-law has mobility challenges and hard to take the stairs. The restaurant staff were attentive and food selection at the buffet meals were decent.

For a 5(7*?) Hotel they claim they are, the food was below standard. We had dinner from the a la carte menu and was super disappointed. It took them 30 minutes and 2 reminders to get us water and food for a diabetic dad who had taken insulin. The staff is super nice and friendly but it seems to be a problem at the managerial level. We were hoping the free buffet breakfast would make up for it but same deal there are well. There are hardly any outdoor play options for small kids even though there is plenty of outdoor space. Except for the awesome location and friendly staff, overall a poor experience for the money spent. P.s: I sent 2 messages via the booking.com app and didn't even hear back. I'm guessing that's what you get for getting a rate lower than their rack rate.

Staff in the restaurants, very dynamic they dont keep us waiting in live kitchen area, Alll securities that includes life guards are very pleasing and caring,.

The infinity pool is serene, stunning location! on the cliff side. The ayurvedic oil massage was truly one of the best - shout out to Jiju the masseuse. Its a shame we could'nt get into the sea as the winds were strong.
