This was our third time stay at The Leela. This time we had a nite to stay in Mumbai before departing for UK .... This property was perfect .... to begin with at reception welcomed by vey friendly Anil who made us very comfortable and room given was just perfect, even room service was very prompt .... Citrus restaurant perfect for elaborated menu dinner and complimentary airport transfer by duty manager (Abhay) was extra icing on the cake and at checkout Sagar and Vidya were very friendly... Our recent stay at The Leela Hotel Mumbai was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were picked up at the airport until our seamless checkout, every aspect of our visit was meticulously taken care of, ensuring an unforgettable experience. The service at The Leela Hotel is truly unparalleled. From the front desk to housekeeping, the spa, and the restaurants, every team member went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Special mention must go to Kashmira, who made our stay extraordinarily special. She arranged our transport effortlessly, organized a stunning birthday arrangement in our room, and even remembered our favorite flowers from our previous visit, placing them beautifully in our room. Kashmira is an absolute credit to the hotel, showcasing professionalism, warmth, and a dedication to creating a flawless experience that we've never encountered before. Our rooms were exquisite, offering the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The entire property exudes old-world Bombay charm that newer five-star hotels simply cannot replicate. The Leela Hotel's ambiance is a delightful blend of luxury and heritage, providing a spacious and serene environment. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel feels like a tranquil oasis. My kids were warmly welcomed by all. Spa was amazing! Massage was so lovely. Great spa manager. Having stayed at many five-star properties across India, The Leela Hotel Mumbai stands out as the most outstanding. The team welcomed us with professionalism, open arms, and open hearts, making us feel like family. Every detail, from the service with a smile to the heartfelt interactions, contributed to a truly remarkable stay. Loved the Royal Club Package with amazing all day snacks, drinks and beautiful lounge so worth the upgrade. The rooms and furnishings need a refurbishment. Some of the upholstery of the couch in my room was faded and torn(I was surprised to see it - A detail that matters in a reputed five star hotel). Overall the furniture in the room also shows it's age. The room was good overall in terms of comfort and cleanliness.

The location is very nicely hidden in the middle of the chaos of the city.

Waiting area in the lobby has no enough sofas are available and feel awkward by standing long time for a taxi. Only two opposite sofa chairs with a teapoi was the only place available in lobby to sit and wait.

The green lush ambience of Leela is exceptional in a city like Mumbai. The staff are very friendly and cooperative. They support me all the possible ways to make me comfortable. The new complimentary glass water bottles inside room is healthy and nature friendly.

We stayed for 6 nights. So, breakfast felt like a repetition. I would have loved to see : - a live stuffed paratha section - fresh vada pav (could not see it in buffet area. Was it available as a secret menu? ) - vegan smoothies
