- The rooms are a bit dated and require major renovation to bring it up to modern standards. However, they maintain an old school charm.

- Excellent Staff who are ready to assist you wholeheartedly at all times and make you feel welcomed. - Superb breakfast with a vast spread. - On-Site restaurant 'Baan Thai' was fantastic. - Bed was really soft and amenities in the room were plentiful. - A shout out to Mr. Rahul Nair (Director of Sales) for making our Anniversary Celebration special. - Could not find a better location.

Everything. From the moment we walked in, greeted with a welcome drink and refreshing towel, the staff couldn't do enough for us. Polite, smiling, helpful, thoughtful. The Oberoi is a grand old hotel with grand, traditional service and values, but brought right up to date. Rooms were lovely and comfortable, slippers laid ready, and the pillow was like laying my head on a cloud. Both restaurants are great and good value. Superb breakfast. Lovely pool. We'd had a fantastic trip in India, trekking in Darjeeling and before that in Kerala, and The Oberoi was the icing on the cake. Nicest 5* hotel I've ever stayed in. Thank you to you all.

On the day of our Checking -out on 17 April we went for Breakfasts to the Hotel Restaurant where we usually go at around 9.40 a.m.the staff received us said it was full and showed the next door Restaurant the staff there also said it was full and asked us to go to next doot Bar,which wss not only irritating also objectionable, when I insisted on sitting there they somehow mansged a small table for 3 of us. This sort of attitude and behavior from a reputed 5-Star hotel like Oberoi Grand not only unexpected also un desirable. Grand Hotel management shrould everyday monitot number of guests with Breakfasts and provide at least same numbet of Chairs with tables.

Our Bedroom was spacious, clean & comfortable. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of food items.

Floor numbers are almost invisible in the lifts.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, though bathrooms are rather small (limitations of an older infrastructure). Breakfast is sumptuous and extremely varied with excellent service. The crowning achievement of the Oberoi Grand, howwever, is the quality of the staff: attentive, kind, and highly responsive. This elevates this grand old hotel above most of its peers around the world.

The Grand is a phenomenal hotel with a great location, incredible attention to detail in the care they give guests, and great breakfasts. Despite the bustling location, it is an oasis of calm and quiet in a frenetic city. We've stayed there when visiting for the last decade and uniquely in our experience of multiple hotels over that time, it keeps getting better. You won't find a hotel as good as this for the same price anywhere else in India. The staff are uniformly outstanding. We travelled this time with two young children who were treated like princes throughout. Special mentions to Maanasa and Chef Rakshit on the mangement trainee scheme, to the head chef, and to S- from housekeeping who went out of her way to make our oldest's birthday memorable. Great people, great place.
