This hotel is beautiful, and the service that we received was exceptional.And each and every member of the staff is always smiling and providing the highest possible level of service to each and every guest. While the hotel and the amenities are excellent, the hotel is starting to show signs of aging, and a proper deep clean in bathrooms and carpets could go a long way. The rooms can be noisy if you are on the side of the mosque, which has its first call to prayer at 5.30 in the morning.

This is without a doubt one of the top 3 hotels within the Pondicherry city limits. Especially if you don't want to stay in a heritage property using old furniture etc. The hotel is modern and has lovely amenities, the gym and pool stand out to be in excellent condition and very clean. The spa is good, albeit somewhat costly for the local prices. The thing that really sets this hotel apart, is the staff, we were extremely impressed with their helpfulness and ability to make things happen for us. Highly recommended for a pondy stay!

Rooms especially bathrooms could be cleaner. Bathroom fittings are on 3 star level and looked a bit old already. For light sleepers the hotel is not ideal as you hear the street noise despite soundproofing.

Spacious modern rooms. Excellent dinner and breakfast buffet with tasty food and large choice. Wonderful staff at reception. Lobby and Restaurant looked still new and fresh with pleasant cool air and nice fragrance. Rooms comfortable with lovely light options.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. Location is perfect. Literally within 10-20 minutes, it is from all the tourist attractions. Though it's on a busy main street, the rooms were quite cozy and quiet. It is exactly same as depicted in pictures.

A bit expensive compared to other hotels. Only wallet parking option. Saw the attender driving my car very fast and rough to the back. It's a carefully maintained car and it felt bad. Also as per the notee don't take accountability for damages. So it's better not come come here if u are on car.

We had booked 2 rooms for the 3 days, and they didn’t let us check in till we made an upfront payment and the staff could have dealt it with better.

If you are looking at a property for a family stay, it is recommended to stay here. Facilities are nice, and the food is pretty good. Service of the staff is also worth mentioning, however they need to be mentored more to deal with customers to make it same as other five star properties. Rajni at help desk is quite helpful.

The streets below could be noisy given the traffic and loud speaker announcements.

The staff were very helpful. The food was also surprisingly good. We ate at the Bike and Barrel one night because we wanted something light. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

1) Unless requested, room was not cleaned and towels not replaced. 2) Wifi was dreadful. It kept erroring out. Had to get the staff to fix it several times. Had to hotspot my laptop to my phone SIM, in sheer frustration. 3) I had nominated my Citibank AUD debit Mastercard when I did the booking. This was as I understood it, meant to be an assurance for the hotel. When I checked in, the card was quietly debited for the total cost for 4 nights, without me being warned or informed. When I checked out I got to know about this. This was unethical and discourteous. The client should always be informed before his card is debited. I was particularly upset because, I had transferred enough money into my SBI INR account so I could make the payment out of that account. It turned out that I was not given a choice, the hotel quietly debited my debit Mastercard in AUD, which has given me a worse exchange rate. This left a bitter taste when we checked out.

The hotel is in a central location - close to the white town, promenade etc which is great. but the actual premises is on a very crowded street which is busy and congested. But if one can navigate that, the hotel is excellent.
