The TV didn't work. Bathroom had lots of ants by the windows. The shower was only warm for 20 seconds. Bathroom needs a good clean and mop after each guest leaves and fresh bedding. It would be great if there was a information pack/book left in the room with some information about the local area and shared taxi info (20/30 rupees from main road to mg marg-don't pay 300+ for normal taxi) trip info etc.

The bed was perfect, very big and comfy and it had good quality bedding and pillows, there were plug sockets by the bed and also a full length mirror which was nice. The WiFi was the best I've had in India. The room felt very safe and the staff were quite friendly. I was sick for 4 days so it was a nice place to just relax.

It's a lil far from MG marg but that's also okay. To reach the hotel one needs to go to down.

Location is little dicy. Mg road is around 4 km from the property.

The property was awesome.. especially the owners are very cooperative and humble at the same time. The best part is that we can get homemade food anytime we want . The room was clean and nice with sufficient amenities. Overall a good experience.will visit again.

1. The rooms are exactly what is shown in picture 2. The behaviour of Mr. Prakash Pradhan and his wife Mrs Kavita was excellent 3. The rooms are very large and clean Ll4. The rate is also reasonable, though we were charged more than actual by Booking.com 5. The location is a little dicey... means it is on a slope deep down near "Bar- peepal बड़ पीपल", MG.Road is about 4 Kms away from this place.

Only issue was reaching the hotel due to the steep approach road which is under renovation.

Hotel is located a little on the lower side from the main road , so going out to MG market and to taxi stand a bit expensive every time when you have to go out. However the owners arranged for the taxi/car / Jeep right at the entrance of the Hotel .So absolutely smooth going as far as travelling was concerned.Permits to go to Nathula pass was easily done by Royall crest Hotel.

Very clean rooms, breakfast and dinner was local and delicious. The owners very helpful and they could arrange the Car for the site seeing right at the doorstep of the Hotel. In all we enjoyed our stay at the Royal crest Hotel.

Excellent hospitality during the stay. Sheetal didi, Pramod ji, and Ramesh were awesome. The home made breakfast, dinner were heavenly. Tge rooms were clean and all amens were provided. Immediate help was available whenever required

I had a very bad experience with the owner of the property, at the time of checkout I payed my dues through upi app, they told me that it will be updated in short, and asked me to continue my journey , but after half n hour, the owner’s wife called me up and told they haven’t received the amount, and asked me to check my account wether it got canceled or not, I confirmed her about successfully transaction, even I had shared her my bank statement, still mr Pradhan(owner) threatened me to pay him the money, as he haven’t received it on google pay which was linked with Icici bank, and told me that people like me are thieves, they come and run out without paying, he directly specified me as thieves and thug, I immediately asked him to send me the scanner and paid him once again and this time he confirmed me that its success, then I enquired from customer care about my previous transaction and came to know that the earlier amount was already credited in Mr pradhan’s Hdfc account, I called him and ask him to check his hdfc account, this incident took place at morning 10:30 am and till evening they didn’t confirmed me, at evening once again I called owner’s wife she confirmed that the amount had been credited in Hdfc account, and refunded me, but mr pradhan didn’t asked for apology. And the way he behaved for his own fault and blamed me as thieve and thug, I am very upset

Overall excellent. Fooding and lodging both were excellent. Manager and all members were very helpful and good in behaviour. The expense is same as staying in m.g.marg. the amount you pay in hotel in m.g.marg that same amount goes for the transport here. The food quality and room's cleanliness is far much better than that of m.g.marg. the food price and room price is also reasonable. One of the best hotel in gangtok.

The room was just like in the picture- spacious, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Prakash and Kavita are lovely hosts, serve tasty breakfast on order (if booked with free breakfast) and treat customers as their personal guests, taking care of every little need. Highly recommend this place!

As a solo traveller and someone who had had a very long journey, the seamless check-in service and clean rooms were a God-sent. The hotel staff also helped me book a private taxi which was of immense help as I was new to the place. I had a comfortable and safe stay.
