There are still some amenities like spa that are missing at the property.

The food was sensational. Loved it at all times ! The fact it was a sustainable property and the decor, toiletries and the stuff in the room was fantastic.

It’s a beautifully designed and well kept resort. The views are nice and the room so clean. We had a mediocre (not to say bad) experience before staying here so we cancelled our booking and we went to this resort without a reservation. They took us in after booking through this website and I couldn’t have been happier. The pool was nice, the food was also quite good. All in all was an amazing experience for us.

Hot water supply in the bathroom was pathetic. Bathroom was basin was leaking with water getting spilled over the floor. Very limited food menu for lunch & dinner.

Excellent location. Breakfast was amazing. Very humble and customer service oriented staff. High tea provided was a great experience. We enjoyed the overall ambiance.

Price was on the higher end when comparing to the services provided. Could get hotels with better location/services at similar or lower prices. Location wasn't the best, technically next to the sea but don't expect a standard "beach" experience where you can go into the ocean or lay on the sand etc. Amenities in the room were a bit strange. I understand the need to use environmentally safe products but all the body lotion, shampoos etc felt like someone took regular products and watered them down, shower caps fell apart by the mere act of opening etc. Not exactly a negative but I don't know where else to write it: the property doesn't have a bar license, so keep that in mind when visiting.

The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help where possible. Room was spacious. Naturalist at the property was very knowledgeable. Coffee provided in the room was really great, better than most hotel coffees I've had.

There wasn't enough hot water in the evening to shower - i assume it's heated by solar and others guests used up what there was before we washed. I appreciate the environmental considerations but I expect a hot shower for the price. Everything else was excellent.

I loved this resort. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious, quiet, and with an amazing view. The general atmosphere of the resort is great. It's the perfect place to relax and chill out in Havelock. The staff was extremely helpful. We thank especially Mr Kartik and Ms Sukriti for their kindness.

Location, Location, Location!! Fantastic property with its own private beach. Although the beach is not particularly for swimming due to too many corals/rocks close to shore, its still nice to sit in hammock or chairs and enjoy the ocean. The room was very spacious. I was not particularly thrilled with the breakfast choices, although they do have egg /dosa station.

Well maintained and beautiful location. The rooms were superb and the food was always freshly cooked and the staff were very nice. A special mention - Mervin and most of the staff who went out of their way to ensure that our needs were met including booking tickets for the ferry back. All in all, a great stay.

It was a family vacation for 6 days and we chose Tilar Silo, a CGH resort. In the past we have stayed at other CGH resorts and we really enjoyed their hospitality. So choosing Tilar Silo was a no-brainer for us. This resort is right on the Vijaynagar beach. After a warm welcome, we had a nice presentation by Mr. Anil about the resort, location etc. The room is spacious and has a nice sitout facing the beach. Like all CGH resorts they are very environmentally conscious. Amazing food and service. The staff is very proactive and very helpful with suggestions on location, transportation or local food etc. We had a very informative tidal walk with their in house naturalist Akhil and Anand. They have a varied menu daily, based on the arrival of fresh food. And they share the same daily morning, so one can order in advance since they believe in slow cooking. Unfortunately we had to cut short our visit since we planned the return to Chennai same day. In my experience its rare for resort to refund, when it was our mistake and we advanced our return by a day last minute but CGH was very gracious enough to refund. ( Its always better to plan checkout one day before and so one can catch the flight next day, given the ferry can get delayed or cancelled due to weather conditions) Congratulations to Mr Anil and team for a fantastic stay and treated us like family, look forward to visit again and other CGH resorts!

The most beautiful (unfortunately only) 6 days in Tilar Siro! We have never felt such concern for hospitality in any hotel. Thanks to everyone's maximum commitment, we felt "like in cotton wool" every day. We had booked a room without a sea view and yet we got one with a view, as it was not currently booked. Every day we had a wonderfully tidy and fragrant room. The breakfasts were excellent with the possibility to try Indian or European cuisine. The amazing reception always arranged for us everything that a person asked for or just asked. We really fell in love with tea at five o'clock every day with warm cookies. Every day a new daily menu sent on WhatsApp so that we could choose in peace. When the food was ready, we were notified by phone, so we could spend the preparation time in any other way. A big and very nice surprise was to get the whole menu in our native language!! Thank you! It was also never a problem to agree in advance and order anything else that was not on the menu. In Tilar Siro, a wish is simply fulfilled without almost having to say it. We were at the hotel off-season, and in such a wonderful environment it was a real rest and balm for the soul. Our daughter cried when we left, and although we don't visit the same places twice, we would love to return to Tilar Siro again (out of season). Thank you for everything you have done for us as all services exceeded our expectations. You prepared the most beautiful holiday for us.
