As the name suggests, Tranquil is very quiet resort nestled in the greenery of Mahabaleshwar. It is just a short walk away from the Market and that provides not just a good walk but also an opportunity to enjoy the uniqueness of Mahabaleshwar. The staff is very courteous and always happy to help with a smile. The restaurant is very quick with its turnaround and the food served is fresh and well prepared. Overall, it was a highly relaxing and satisfying stay.

I appreciated the family like working relationship of the staff and management. A special thanks goes to the 3 beautifull ladies in reception. Bhaggashree, Barnal and Ketaki. Always willing to assist. Esp. Bhaggashree who went out of her way to ensue the guest is happy. To you ladies i say - "Take a bow for a job well done." Keep smiling. Then there was Bapu who was always willing to part with valuable information regarding the area and property.

The location is peaceful yet close to the main market. The staff is very welcoming and are always available for your service. Special thanks to Sudhir and Pandurang who made sure the right food is made available for my 3 years old kid.

The only sort of was the pool which didn't look very clean. From the looks of it we didn't see anyone going in for a dip but I feel it should have been maintained better.

I loved the hospitality provided by the staff. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. The rooms were fantastic, the place was amicable and cosy. There was barely any issue with the place and it exceeded our expectations in many ways.

- breakfast needs to have more options, everyday we got 90% same menu only one item at max different from other day. Breakfast timing should be increased by an hour or so. - need to give some basic facilities like mineral water bottles on daily basis, we need to even request for extra brush and toothpaste which must not happened in 3 star property. - found it little bit over priced, not sure may be due to festival season.

Breakfast was slightly basic and the same everyday (but tasty and adequate), more variety would be appreciated. Very soft and spongy bed which affected my sleep quality adversely. Well-done bathrooms but more thought could have been given for providing hooks, towel rods etc.

Very quiet and leafy location, overlooks a small forested area but not more than 1.5 km from the centre of town. Classy and spacious interiors, very clean and well-maintained. Beautiful garden, swing area, hammocks, swimming pool. Daily newspapers were freely available. Adequate parking. Polite and helpful staff and reception. Brilliant hotel restaurant where we had a delicious dinner on the last evening of our trip. An excellent choice for a short trip to Mahabaleshwar as the word tranquil is most appropriate.
