It is pity that the Aret Deco rooms are not acessible any more. Would have liked to stay in one of these.

Its a heritage palace converted into hotel. Experience was unmatched and unlike any hotel we have ever stayed. We were upgraded to Royal Suite and the Room was huge. Entire palace has lot of history, paintings etc.

The building, literally a palace is amazingly beautiful. The rooms, while beautiful, have shockingly old carpet and are badly in need of a renovation.

Breakfast was very good, but would prefer a buffet as we were brought a whole lot of food, much of it we didn't ask for, didn't want, and didn't eat. The building is so incredibly beautiful, really a treat to be able to stay there.

There is really nothing that one didn't like.

I stayed in Umaid Bhawan for a night in Nov'23 with my family consisting of my son, daughter in law and grand children and of course my wife. we stay in India but my son and his family had come from USA. It was a mesmerising experience for all of us. the hospitality was awesome. The property breadth taking. The cutlery and the cuisine served in the Risala restaurant was magnificent. we actually felt like Maharajas for a night. we also got a glimpse of a lavish marriage being organised at the property.

Stunning property! Beautifully decorated and lovely gardens. We had a fabulous view from our room . I truly felt that we were living in a palace. Food was amazing in the restaurant. And if there was one thing that was better than the property was the service of the employees. They treated each guest like royalty, learned our names. Went above and beyond my expectations! The hotel gave me some local snacks to take to my mother on a complementary basis. And a lovely gift for myself and an extra one for my daughter when I said that my gift was lovely and that my daughter would probably take it from me!!!

Every single aspect but especially the service, food and rooms. A special shout out for Maneesha (front desk), Khan Chand (Housekeeping) and Karan Aman (Restaurant) who went out of their way to make our stay special. This one is right out there now on top of our best destination list!

Me, my wife & our children came to celebrate my birthday at this marvelous structure and we are really glad we chose Umaid Palace for it. The hospitality by the staff made our stay even more extraordinarily better. Special thanks to Madam SHWETA who gave us the best service possible and fulfilled our every request within the blink of an eye. The staff at the Risala & the Pillars made our lunch, dinner & breakfast extra extra special. For this I give a special thanks to Mr SADDIQUE who was a pleasure to talk to and is such a pleasant personality. And cheers to the amazing chef Mr SHOBIT MATHUR who prepared for us one of the best meals we ever had. The whole staff including SAKSHI, AMAN, HARSIT, ALKA and NERENDE ji served and presented us with great enthusiasm and extraordinary service. The position of electric socket points in the room. They have to be redesigned and repositioned for a gadgetful traveler.
