How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

found a bit pricy comparative to the facitlity that was provided.
location is good and walkable distance to temple. Rooms were clean and spacious but washbasin and 2nd bathroom was outside the room so it was a bit inconvenient. Owner was polite and acccomodative, overall a good place to stay.

Stay is good !!! Washroom is not attached it’s outside !!! They should have kept some plates for eating inside the kitchen and other utensils !! Rest is ok

Not enough charging power points. Bathroom is ancient type. Could have been better. We stayed there only for 1 night. Felt the pricing we were expecting an outstanding comfort. Slightly disappointed.
V Homestay is very close to the Bhadrachalam temple. The facility is like an apartment complex. The approach to the place is very narrow. Had difficulty driving to the property. But it has car parking area which was convenient and secure for overnight parking.

This is definitely an 11/10! This has been by far one of the cleanest places I have visited during my two month trip in Andhra Pradesh. The owner is one of the friendliest and most hospitable people I have ever met. He not only greeted us with Tea when we arrived, but the next day he was also kind enough to hold our bags since we had a 10pm bus. The cherry on top was when, despite checkout being earlier in the day, he offered to let us use a shower since we were sweaty after a long day of walking around. It made our overnight bus journey much more comfortable. The location is incredible. Less than a 5 minute walk to the main Temple. Anyways, definitely a great place to stay. Wifi was also super fast, so I can see any remote workers being able to stay a couple days, and rely on the super-fast internet.

Penthouse booked was in third floor and no lift. This fact not mentioned while booking. We were Sr citizen. Although ground floor room was given same rent was charged. GST amount not shown separately in the bill. No water bottle provided. None to assist even to procure tea in the morning. No nearby restaurants. Power cut was there and no alternative facility like generator. Owner more particular in taking money immediately on arrival rather than taking care of our needs.

The Property is located at a peaceful location with good Amenities and a wonderful owner. We often realise it is not about the price but we pay for the experience. I loved staying at this Home stay.

Nice place to stay when visiting the holy town of Bhadrachalam! The hosts were a humble couple who have made it their mission to provide a comfy and clean accomodation to the visitors. The homestay is located in the older part of the town, close to the Ramalayam. We visited in the month of January and the climate was pleasant. On the whole, a highly recommended homestay....

EVERYTHING, no AC in one BR , arrogant behaviour, not provided bill inspite of asking. , not provided enough blankets, pillows, towels, blankets re used Owner only wants income without any spending Owner

The accommodation is located close to Temple and the river. Host is too good a person. Rooms were very clean. Bathroom was exceptionally clean. In my next visit i prefer to stay there again.

Everything including staff behaviour. Firstly this is not hotel it’s like paying guest accommodation. As mentioned in booking.com we went there and realised there is only 1 AC among 2 bedrooms. When we talk to the owner he says it’s like that can’t do anything. They were very rude and I advice strongly not to choose this property.
