We loved our short stay at Maadathil - it was in the perfect location, close enough to the action to walk, but far enough away that it was calm and relaxing, and right on the seafront. The room was large and comfortable and the grounds were immaculate and well cared for. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again on a future trip to Varkala or to recommend to friends. Thank you for everything!

The location of the property is amazing. Beach is 100m walk. The beach is clean and the cliff is very close. Staff is very polite and helpful. Abhijeet helped us to rent scooty as well as he arranged booking for kayaking. Place is very quite all you can hear is the ocean. If I ever visit varkala again I will stay at Madathil only.

Finding it was slightly difficult- until Maadathil sent someone by motorcycle to guide us to paradise.

Large comfortable private bungalows right on a quiet section of the beach. Staff all welcoming and helpful. Restaurant prepared delicious food. Hope to return for an extended stay!

Location is simply perfect!! Nice cliff view before reaching the property, Excellent sunset view by sitting inside the room. Staff was very polite and gave us good service. Food was amazing. Sea food are very delicious. Should try fish in banana leaf. We suggest every one and we will be back again soon. Thank you Maadathil team for making our stay very comfortable.

Room got a little too hot at night despite the AC. Shower could be better. Had to make a bank transfer for half the room cost up front which was a faff.

Lovely location right on the beach, perfect for sunsets. Not so many people around as the Cliffs areas, which are a 20 minute walk along the beach (bring a torch as it is not well lit). Breakfast was decent. Friendly staff. Arranged us transfers that went perfectly at a good price. Bed was comfortable. It was clean. Excellent value overall. Room door was cool with an ornate lockable bolt, writing this from a 5 star hotel that has a fake version of the same.

The tuk-tuk rides and transportation organised by the hotel are way overpriced compared to what non-tourists would pay.

Lovely room with a huge and comfortable bed with a great view. Directly in front of a beautiful, clean, and relatively quiet beach. The WhatsApp system of communicating with the staff is very convenient and I wish other hotels used this system!

Absolutely loved our stay! The location was amazing and we would definitely return at some point in the future. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the lower level apartments, the view and access to the beach was just perfect.

Make sure to check which room you book - we wanted to have a bungalow, but ended up in a small building with a view on the side of the building. A bit disappointing - BUT the staff did their possible to help. It is a nice hotel regardless.

Superb location in a more secluded beach only 20 mins walk from the busier North Cliff of Varkala Beach. We loved the hammock and deck chairs between the palm trees , easy access to the beach and the cottage rooms with balconies, the rooms are big and stylish, you will feel like home! Staff very attentive and striving to make customers happy. ABundant breakfast options and good restaurant food. Perfect for couples!
