The location is good, somewhere in the middle of everything that you gonna need. Staff is ok, room is old and not in good condition, but they try to make it clean. The bed sheets were clean, but room smells like mold.

The place is really run down in general, so everything seems old and greasy. In our room the wall finish was coming off in one place so you could see the bare wall underneath. This patch is like 30cm by 30cm. The bathroom is really tiny and it's ceiling is really low, you'll be comfortable there only if you are under 165cm. Every morning you'll be woken up by either kindergarten or the neighbouring building. And at night kids could be kicking a ball at the wall of this room. The place isn't as close as it seems to the main attractions but you could take a bus or tuktuk there. And the neighborhood itself is not the most pleasant with some parts looking really shady. The staff doesn't really speak English, you'll be able to get what you need most of the time but don't expect a full-blown conversation.

The price is relatively good. But we should've paid a bit more to get a better place. I don't think we had bedbugs which is a big plus for Mumbai it seems. Many places have mentions of bedbugs and even this one had a mention of them. Water was safe for brushing teeth but I'm not sure if they have a filter for that, the staff didn't really know or maybe they did but couldn't understand me.

The room was a bit dark and stuffy (even with AC/fan and windows), which isn't the end of the world. Facilities were a liiiiittle bit clunky, but not bad. TV didn't work and nowhere to sit or desk or anything, but not a huge deal. Just at this price I was expecting more of a 'hotel vibe', but it didn't get there.

Fine, comfortable place with comfy bed and good bathroom. Decent location just a few minutes from Byculla station, easy train up or down the Central Line. Great street food just outside! (especially the dosa lady). Staff were very nice and considerate.

When we arrived we were offered a different room than I booked, with separate beds. I had to insist hard to be located in the room in the double bed, as it was booked. The bathroom is very small and not comfortable, tall people will face problems to stand there.

The bed was slightly short for me (1.86m), and some lads were watching shite out loud on their phone after lights out. Nothing the hostel can do about that though.

The location is good, Byculla station is a 5 minute walk, ignore what Google maps says. It's cheap. They have a western toilet and showers.

The area (byculla east) was bounded by a few big roads, making it unappealing to walk far from the place. Taxis/Ubers are easy to get into the more touristic areas though

The room had everything we needed and the staff made check in and check out very easy. Gloria's, round the corner, was an amazing restaurant - so cheap and friendly.

The bathroom was outside the room and very far from it so now very comfortable. The ceiling was leaking so raining water was everywhere. Also, the mosquitos were everywhere. Overall the stay was not pleasant.

Climbing the stairs with luggage was difficult as it is very narrow. Surrounding is quite congested. Lobby too is dumped with a stuff. Amenities like Soap and handwash was provided only after demanding.
