*beds stacked one on another - not meaning bunkbeds - there's just not much space left for anything *Very bad wifi signal *Fans are fitted straight under the lights which makes the whole space blink at least 10 times per second. It drove me crazy and was impossible to avoid from the top bunkbed *The ac was faced straight at my bed in the distance of less than 1m - as it had automatic program it was just making me uncomfortable in the random moments of the night *The disabled rooster shouts at random moments of the day

*clean and spacious blanket *good localisation *Locker, they give you the padlock if you ain't have one *Water heater in the showers *More than one toilet and shower (as separate places)

Not the best area, not so much around, a few shops and restaurants, but not a touristy area. Small shower areas that could be cleaner/better. The dorms are basically one big open area.

Just okey. About 20-30 mins walking to the main train terminal. Close to local train station. Beds are big enough for me, I'm 189 tall.

Too much hassle in this place. I'd asked on Booking whether it was possible to check in early as we arrived by sleeper bus in the morning, but there was no response. When we got there we were thus expecting to have to wait a bit, but were pleasantly surprised that there was a room ready. No one told us that after 20 mins of getting comfortable in the room we would have to change without explanation. They told us to wait for 10 mins while they told another couple in a different room to check out soon, even though it was 10 and check out is at 11. After 20 mins of waiting I went to ask what we were waiting for and the manager shrugged as he told me to wait another hour. We were displeased as we'd been travelling for 15 hours and no one was telling us what the hassle was about, but left our bags and went for breakfast to check in later. When we did, we soon found bedbugs in the beds, so we asked to change again. We were only able to move that evening into the same room we'd been in that morning. Definitely a very unprofessional vibe, not recommended after a long journey in an already chaotic city, and definitely also not cause of the bedbugs ofc. The location is quite far from the main tourist spots, but that's also just cause it's cheap.

Only staying 4 nights

House of Memories is very quiet and all you can hear are the frogs and birds. However it is set just 10-15 minutes from the constant noise of the main Main Street with its shops. The beach is only 5 mins away where can find bars. The best food we had was at Mama Cecelias bar which is the first bar you will come to. The staff at HOM are great from and very helpful.
