1. Most dislike is the food. Everything, whether South Indian or North Indian is made using the same spices , same oil and have a typical tangy sour taste, even a plate of paneer pakora or a paratha. Breakfast is with very limited choices and even an omelette is overdone and crisply fried. 2. Washrooms need a little upgrade. Shower cubicles are not properly separated. A hotel of this price should have them. A simple shower wets the entire washroom.

The hotel has best location and a wonderful view. Located amongst the lush green tea gardens it possibly has the best location in Ooty although a bit far from main town. From our room we could see a wonderful sunrise. The rooms, facilities and infrastructure are superb. The staff are very courteous and prompt in service. Overall in terms on hotel it cannot be better.

Flies. Hard to believe but there were flies everywhere specially in the restaurant. The dining table cloth was not cleaned everyday and not well kept. Same with the recreation room. Good number of options for indoor play but all unkept and half broken

Local varieties could be more, continental dishes were missing almost entirely, Coffee and tea should be great but was mediocre..

Breakfast was average with variety but lacking a good representation. Wrong labels were placed infront of the dishes regularly. Understaffed with only one attendant creating a lot of pressure on him with people ordering multiple dishes..

We went with the Mountain View room booking, which is on the lower floor and is a large room. Unfortunately, we found the room to be dusty and in need of a good sweeping of the floor. The worst was the bathroom - very plain, not dry, and with a disgusting shower curtain. We had to call for a bathroom cleaning and curtain change, which they quickly obliged. We were still not fully comfortable in the room, and luckily, asked if another was available. One was, it was on the second floor and there was no lift. We didn't care, had a look, and booked it immediately, with extra payment! The views were spectacular from that height and we were within almost touching distance from the tea gardens. The room was large, had a clean big bathroom, and access to a small terrace space. We saw a clear difference in the care and upkeep of the two rooms, so would recommend that the team not be lax about the smaller, cheaper rooms!

The location gets an 11/10! Breathtaking views of the valley, the mountains, town clusters, and the tea gardens. The views beat everything else! It's a great staycation spot - you can take long walks and admire the many many beautiful flowers and birds. The ground staff is a diligent bunch who work hours and hours maintaining the beautiful compound. The property is a bit far removed from the town centre, which is what ensures the quiet beauty. But if you want to get out often, it's a 45-minute ride to the main centre. The drive is smooth enough with a few hairpin bends on the way; the road suddenly gets muddy and badly maintained right outside the property. So beware. The staff is wonderful, very caring, and prompt. Devaraj at the desk was very helpful with taxi bookings and recommendations. Vivek from the team seemingly effortlessly ferried our luggage and shopping bags up and down the two floors! If you have accessibility needs, it's best you let the staff know. The food was decent, with a smallish menu. The breakfast buffet is smallish again, but featured the usual bread, eggs, and an assortment of hot Indian dishes. The restaurant staff, again, was caring and attentive, and you can request eggs-to-order and other items to your table. Kids will love the fresh air, the space to run about, cycle, etc. A small bonfire is possible if the weather cooperates.

We tried breakfast and dinner for the first day, and never went back. We preferred taking meals outside even when we had paid for them at hotel. Also, we had a look at villas and there was strong foul smell, so won't recommend villas. I would recommend them to work on their rooms and food a bit along with some activities as expected by resorts that lacked considerably.

The location is a bit far from ooty and price is high for quality of rooms and services. Only thing worthwhile was the view which was really good but food wasn't good.

The food took forever. Club sandwich was delivered after almost 40mins. In the meantime, my family had already finished their lunch.

Service at the restaurant was very poor. They made us wait for more than a hour for breakfast. Due to the delay to serve all of the guests had to wait for long. Moreover this place is 14 kms from the city and you have no choice than to wait for your food. Also for dinner we ordered for veg soup but they delivered non veg soup and when reported came with excuses.

The lunch and dinner were not as good as the breakfast and options were very less. We stayed in villa, my only complaint was not having a wc in the 1st floor, at night it was difficult to use the bathroom which was below.

Overall the stay was awesome, the staff was courteous. Rooms were clean and the house keeping did their job well. Breakfast was good, specially loved the soft idlys with sambar and chutney.

Food quality needs improvement. The bed provided in the family room were small. Also there were no ventilations in the room making a bit suffocating.

Excellent hospitality by the resort staffs, awesome view from the rooms, great facilities provided.
