I tried the zipline but found it underwhelming and expensive for what it is.

We had an amazing time at Wild Planet! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, the tea plantation is beautiful and beyond that lies thick jungle in every direction. The way into the resort is really beautiful and the roads are fine, once you reach the parking lot you'll be picked up and taken into the property through the jungle on a 4x4. They also have special lodging at the parking lot for drivers to stay. If you're coming from the Bangalore/Mysore direction you will drive through the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. If you go early in the morning you stand a good chance of seeing wild elephants or even tigers! We stayed at one of the valley view cabins, and found it comfortable and well equipped. It can get really hot inside during the day, but the A/C is good quality and can easily take care of it. The view from the balcony was incredible, I particularly liked sitting outside in the early morning and watching the mist slowly clear from the valley. The main lobby and restaurant are nicely decorated and the food buffet is quite good. It's almost all indian food and while it does vary day to day a bit it tends to be the same dishes. It could get monotonous after a while, but for a few days it's perfect. All members of the staff were kind to us and we felt really welcome. As far as activities go, we enjoyed the nature walks the most. Their guides are really knowledgeable and we saw all sorts of interesting wildlife and plants. The bird watching walk was a highlight for us. A couple other things to note: There is no mobile signal or WiFi anywhere except at the lobby/restaurant and the luxury cabins. I found this quite refreshing and it goes well with the general vibe of the place. Also, once it gets dark you're not allowed to walk around the property on your own (apparently snakes can be a problem) so you need to call reception and get a short jeep ride from the valley view cabins to the restaurant for dinner.

Travelling 7km each side off road experience to and fro to the resort is pretty stressful. I prefer they had car parking before the off road drive they they can take the guests in their own vehicle!

The food wasn't great. It wasn't terrible either. Weekends can get crowded, so plan accordingly.

Love the location, the scenery, the staff. Everything is so peaceful. We felt extremely relaxed since we were able to take a break without internet connectivity. We loved the informative rainforest walk.

Amazing stay amidst nature with Breathtaking views. Perfect family vacation - we enjoyed the adventure activities and it was truly a digital detox ! Excellent staff service , Neatly maintained rooms, Good and tasty variety of buffet spread and all the staff assisting for the activities were very friendly and polite. Guided nature walk and rainforest walk was a great experience!

Loved the free upgrade. The activities were great. Mahesh, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and raised our experience to another level. The trek up a 60 degree elephant path was challenging. We enjoyed our stay.

From the time we landed in the resort till the time we left there was not a dull moment. The place is exceptionally clean and everything about the place is stunning. The service is brilliant and the every staff needs a pat on their back as they are so well co-ordinated and are working brilliantly as a team. The rooms are so comfortable and well designed. Great hospitality and you can witness best views from this property. Situated right in the middle of the forest with zero digital access (Ofcourse the lobby area has wifi access). Huge line up of adventure activities provided at the resort which keeps you engaged and have a beautiful time with your loved ones.

They don't have SPA in this property which I use most of the time when I visit any Resort. But any way the activities and wonderful location kept us all busy throughout our stay that I didn't feel I missed it.

From the time we entered the resort every activity was very thrilling and exciting, Food is extraordinary wonderful Chef. Room Cleanliness is top Star. Staffs are very Courteous. Will visit again.
