The facilities were not up to the mark, and the bathroom was not good at all.

Cleanliness, bed frame quality, bedding is not spring coil, rather just cotton. Wifi doesn't reach all floors and is fluctuating

First' I'm giving 5 stars for the price range you are staying in. Obviously. If you want to pay more then you can stay anywhere else. But for value for money as a budget backpacker or long time traveller this place is perfect. The manage Rajuvii, I'm sure I mis spelled his name, is very friendly and accommodating. He waited up until midnight for my arrival as my train was late in from Delhi. He didn't mind. , I stayed 2 days then went away and now I'm back for another few days. It's just easy here. I stain the 5 bed dormitory which was fine. The beds are very wide for single beds, firm but comfortable. The thick warm duvet blankets are so comfortable. I'm here during winter so it actually get cold in Amritsar. But we didn't use AC or indeed even a fantastic. The room was perfect temperature, no noise, extremely quiet at night for good sleep. You can leave your luggage here after you check out if you are going sightseeing. There is hot water in the 2 showers, and 2 toilets, and 2 washbasins in the common area. There is a kitchen which I only used for coffee but if you wanted to cook you can arrange with Rajuvi. There are 2 rooftop terraces, today I spent the whole day in the warm sun relaxing on the top one. It's nice and quiet up there. You can watch sunrise and sunset from there. Really nice area. Also you can dry your laundry outside. The area/street is typical for India, busy and noisy at street level but the accommodation is upstairs so you don't hear the traffic from up there. The golden temple is 10 min maximum walking distance. Use Google maps or you can get a bit lost but that's normal for amritsar. Any direction you go from outs6the hotel you will find shops, market stalls, food, chai, juice stands all right outside the door. The train station and bus terminus are probably 30 minutes walk. Or ask the owner how much you should pay for a TUk tuk and get one from outside the hotel.
