Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IndiaCleanliness of the dining area, the sheets on which we sat on the table had the stains for 3 consecutive days which we stayed. Thus implying that the sheets were not changed.

IndiaRooms that I booked did not have a room heater. When asked, I was told that I have to pay extra for it. Although not a significant issue, it comes a little unexpected for a hotel of this standard in a cold place like Gangtok.
The hotel is located very close to MG Road which is the highlight of Gangtok after completing the day tours. It was just a short walk from MG road. ( Although one con is that its a steep climb on the way back from MG road. Can be a little difficult for the elderly) The staff, especially at their restaurant will go out of their way to make you feel at home. Kudos to the entire staff at restaurant!!

IndiaReception said that room heaters are provided at a price of Rs300/day.. seems very odd since basic amenities are included in the tariff already. Upon calling this out, the made it free immediately.. That was extremely weird. Lobby of the hotel can be made more welcoming. Currently it lacks the warmth that you'd expect at the price. Breakfast options are OK but can include a continental spread. You can get Dosas, or Bhaturas if you like starting your day extremely heavy. Bathroom lacks a shower cabinet, which results in a water spray all over, everytime you take a bath. Again, hotels with similar pricing already have them installed.
Hotel is really well situated. Away from the hurly burly of the mall road and yet, just 5mins walk from it. Room that we got was really big and spacious l. (ROOM 74)
