Ami is kind, patience and helpful. She was able to deal professionally with my concerns during my stay. The two staffs helping out at the morning breakfast counters were also deligent and friendly.

Great location for walking around Reykjavik. The room was clean with plenty of space and storage for two people. Terrific shower quality and an exceptional breakfast spread. Check-in was also very smooth and the staff friendly and helpful.

As shown on the maps the hotel is a little out of main Reykjavik. It took us around 15 minutes which wasn’t bad at all! But if you went on any of the night boat trips it was a little far to walk back in the dark and cold so would recommend booking any taxi service ran by the trip companies!

Was perfect to use as a base as we didn’t spend much time in the room apart from to sleep and get ready! Breakfast consisted of pastries, cereal, toast, a couple of cheeses/ham etc (also had milk alternatives which was great!) A cooked breakfast would have been nice as you definitely need to keep your energy up but you get what you pay for! Room was super clean and tidy, perfect again for us as a couple who didn’t spend too much time there. Enough space

The snow, muddy ice and water in front of the entrance caused inconvenience in accessing the entrance after alighting from our vehicles. Would appreciate that the ice/snow along the pavement right in front of the entrance be shoveled for easy access to the hotel.

The breakfast, especially the waffles. The convenience of being opposite bus stop 12, very convenient to wait for coaches at the hotel lobby instead of waiting in the cold.

Room very warm. When we opened the window it was quite noisy because we were on the ground floor.

Great location. Bus stop 12 is directly outside so very convenient for drop-off and pick-up for tours and airport. Really modern and clean inside. Breakfast included in price which was great. Always lots of choice and delicious food for breakfast.

We couldn't control the temperature in the room and although it was not cold at all, on some of the days we would prefer the temperature to be a little bit higher. The fire alarm went on twice at 7:30 am while we were sleeping on one of the days, which was unpleasant, but obviously was not the hotel's fault and it's better to be safe than sorry.

We had the best time at Storm Hotel, it was perfect for what we wanted. There's a bus stop just in front of the hotel where all the tours around Iceland stop, including the ones to the northern lights and the airport, so we couldn't be happier. The hotel is also just a 5-10 minute walk to the city center, so it's also perfect to visit the city. The room had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Iceland is amazing and we want to be back as soon as possible and whenever we come back, we will stay at Storm Hotel.

The location is amazing, specially if you plan to go on tours because the bus stop 12 is just in front of the hotel. Breakfast is very good, a lot of food and with great quality. Good bed, amazing temperature inside the room and also nice bathroom with everything you need. The staff is very nice. I would totally recomend this hotel if you want to stay in Reykjavik. 10/10.

Breakfast was sensational. Healthy options and very tasty and large selection. Room was warm and comfortable and you could open the windows. Great location near supermarket, 15 min walk to town. We were on 5th floor and they had lifts so we didn’t have to carry our luggage. On site parking was great however it’s limited to first come basis. Staff were very nice and helpful

A boot tray for wet boots would be good so you don't wet the floor in your room

This hotel was perfect for us, the breakfast options were fantastic and the waffles were incredible. The room was clean, spacious and the rain shower was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, following an incident with our passports so we can't thank them enough for all of their help and support. Iceland we will be back and this hotel is a must!
