Pietro was the most wonderful host, giving us recommendations for hikes, places to go, and loaning us bikes to use. The apartment was perfect and the balcony view was stunning and a wonderful way to wake up every day for our morning coffee and tea. We visited early in the season so had the entire place to ourselves with the town still pretty quiet, but we’re lucky to have beautiful weather and an incredible stay. We can highly recommend La Piazzetta for anyone looking for a good base near the Majella mountains to explore Abruzzo.”
