“Lovely hotel with lovely decor, lovely hospitality including wine upon arrival and free upgrade and well decorated rooms. Wonderful outdoor spaces to relax and wonderful Piemonte view. A lovely relaxed hotel. Surprised they charge an extra €20pp for breakfast which is highly unusual and unheard of in our extensive travels including in this area where hotels are usually extremely generous with breakfasts. That said, we do recommend the hotel as a lovely break.”

“Mombaruzzo is perfectly located for wine enthusiasts who want to experience both the classic wines of Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero as well as those from the Monferrato region (some excellent Barbera and lesser known wines including Ruché) but its fantastic Amaretti Morbido are the star attraction (the café around the corner makes the best). The villa is beautiful the appartment is extremely comfortable with a great view over the village. Paola, who lives on site, is very friendly and helpful. There really is very little to fault about the place (see below for nit picking) and it is amazing value for money.”
