“This is a special place. Not manicured for the latest tourist whims. An authentic country house simply renovated, sat in a naturally sheltered compound of pines.
The owners Susanne and Jacomo are lively, welcoming, knowledgeable and relaxed. Many great conversations were had over breakfast.
The rooms are tidy, tastefully decorated with plenty of space and well-equipped ensure bathrooms.
The welcome you receive extendsto their 2 pet dogs who keep a beady eye on the place and accompany you as you stroll to the breakfast table or swimming pool.
Worth noting as you're approx 6-7km outside Lecce a car is preferable. The bus service is reigned back after September. The nearest bus stop is at the local University Engineering building, but services stop around 8pm. So a night out in Lecce requires booking a cab in advance for the return trip.”
