“The stay we had in the River House in Porlezza was great. The kind host Laura has provided clear instructions on how to get property and has met us to check in and show the apartment. Also, it was very easy to get in touch with her for additional requests during the stay. It was a big surprise to discover the welcome gifts as cold drinks and true Italian pasta, she has offered. It is a sign of real Italian hospitality! The apartment is big and comfortable, suitable to accommodate a big family. The kitchen has every utility you will need during the long stay. The small balcony with a river- and mountain- view will add a pinch of flavor to your morning coffee cup. I would recommend this place to a friend and hope to come back myself.”

The location of the hotel is ideal as well…. if you want to stay in this town! Naively we had expected it to be a little more convenient to get to. The room itself was lovely with a fabulous little balcony overlooking the lake.”
