The view from the balcony is breathtaking. Absolutely beautiful place, located on the hill (so a car is recommended), which suits us perfectly, although we didn't get much of the lake view from our room. It is distant from the village center, which we liked, but quite close (with a car) to the ferries and main villages on the lake.”
“Casa Aquadulza was absolutely beautiful and a fantastic place to stay! The room was gorgeous and everything we could have wished for with a romantic atmosphere. The bathroom has honestly become my style inspo. We got the room with the balcony, and we spent almost the entire first evening there just admiring the view. Riccardo was very friendly and helpful and showed us their lovely event room.
Tremezzo was the perfect choice to stay for us, as it was much calmer and much less touristy than the other towns, but still with the most breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. We would recommend buying some food and drinks to bring however, as there was no market close by. 10/10, would recommend staying here, and we hope to come back to Tremezzo and Casa Aquadulza soon again!”
“My family had the most wonderful stay at Tremezzo in Hotel La Perla. Perched above other buildings in the area, the view was amazing and the hospitality was superb. Beautiful memories of Lake Como, such as hotel breakfast with a spectacular view, will charm us always.”
“The location is absolutely magical, really special place to visit. The apartment is extremely clean and well maintained, everything is set out in a very logical and convenient way which makes the holiday less stressful. Really nice thinking from the host, e.g. electrical adaptors in a bowl for international travellers. There is a lot to do in the various towns and communes and each has a specific character.
Restaurant recommendation: "Ancient Trattoria del Risorgimento" very unique and special restaurant using local ingredients, meaning the menu is subject to change based on the seasons. Offers a different type of food to what people usually would think of in a very warm and intimate setting. If you're open minded or want something different is worth checking out in my opinion.”
