“The house is in the oldest part of Pacentro. You can hear the silence. There are no cars. There is parking nearby above the town so not a long walk to the house, but once you walk through the archway into the medieval quarter, which is most of the town, you are in another world of old Italy. Exploring it is fun!
The old house is kept inside as it was post war. It is a home not an apartment. It is a lovely place to stay if you don’t want modern. It has everything you need. The views are over the wooded hills and there is a little balcony. There is a shop, a pharmacy and a main Piazza. Everyone greets you as you pass by and some like to stop and chat. It is a special place which you need to enter with a warm and open heart.
