“The hotel is in a very convenient location, on the water front, next to the ferry terminals. (N.B. the ferry announcements don't start early). The hotel has old world charm. The room was on the second floor at the front of the hotel, overlooking the lake. It was furnished with elegant, antique style furniture. The room and bathroom were very spacious and comfortable, with lots of space to put your stuff! The bed was large and very comfortable.
The lady on Reception was charming and helpful, although it did take a couple of days for someone to fix the collapsing clothes rail in the wardrobe. The other staff were also very friendly, efficient and helpful. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and all on offer was delicious. I'd be very happy to go back to this hotel and would recommend it to others.”
