We had a great time at Rob and Christine's. Great hospitality and the house has a nice ambiance. Breakfast was nice, they even arranged an early breakfast for us as we went to visit the etna. Highly recommended :)

The best aspect of 5 Balconi are the hosts. They made ourselves at home by their hospitality and the urge to help. They gave us a big chunk of advice on the interesting places around but also on the public transport. The breakfasts were always delicious and fresh, but most importantly they were a great opportunity for a pleasant discussion. We recommend the place to everybody.

I only wish we could have stayed longer! Looking forward to our next visit to Catania.

Everything was truly wonderful! Fantastic hosts that go above and beyond. Room was quiet, comfy, and clean. Would absolutely stay here again. Having both a fan and a/c in the room was really appreciated. We were able to store our luggage the next day as we weren't flying out until late at night.

5 Balconi is the best B&B I’ve been. Christina & Rob - the owners, are great and extraordinarly helpful people. They take care of guest - my Fiance is vegan and she got special vegan option for breakfast. They create a really special and kind atmosphere of this place. Every piece of forniture has its soul and make guests feel like they are at home. The interior design is warm, and pleasing, with some Sicilian symbols. It is also extra clean and because of air conditioning we could feel comfortible in our room despite heat outside. We definitely recommend this place, and in case of visiting Catania next time, we will surely chose it for staying again.

Nothing! Especially for the price, it was a lot better than my expectations!

Extremely nice hosts, the breakfast was amazing with bio Müsli etc. There was even free wine (and water) in the fridge. The rooms where awesome, liked the furniture and interior a lot! Rob was super friendly and pleasent, we had nice talks. Highly recommend it! Side fact: It was the first b&b in Catania :)

Coming closer to the address, you might be surprised. The inner ward including the part of the street might look a bit scary. On top, it´s very rush street, going around city center, number of cars, scooters are enormous and it´s not that much better during the night. If you are used to sleep under these conditions, no issues. If you prefer silent places, this could be the challenge.

Rob is English gentleman with very kind approach. I was positively surprised about Rob, all explained in detail, fantastic recommendations for Catania, even its surrounding, what to do, where, how to reach destinations. He prepared nice breakfast. Even the last morning, when we needed to leave at 6 a.m., was breakfast prepared. There is free parking downside in front of the accommodation. You could be confronted by local “guardians” asking 2EUR for taking care about your car. No need do accept it .)
