Our bed was actually two twins pushed together, so not the most ideal, but it wasn’t too bad. The great hospitality and everything else, made up for this.

Just about everything was perfect, and our host was so gracious. Clean room with a nice view, and several amenities. Great breakfast!

One of my top stays in the Langhe Monferrato region

The pillows were too high for me as a front sleeper and they were a little lumpy but that would be my only complaint. I'd go back again tomorrow . . . . . but maybe take my own pillow ;)

Rooms were simple but large with good facilities and an upgraded bathroom that was small but with all necessities. Staying in the rooms that would have housed the religious order from the past is very charming with high buttressed ceilings. Breakfast was superb with the full International breakfast choices and served in the expansive basement under the property, which is a lovely old Abbey, with Marianna as the perfect host. The home made hazelnut cake is a must to try or take to snack on later. The property had lovely views over the countryside and the Alps from the alfresco guest area with ample parking for guests on site, and only a 5 minute easy walk to the Centro with access to great meal options. Novello is a small town but with excellent amenities and access to the many vineyards, but away from the hustle and bustle of Barolo. It was actually one of my favourite towns during my week long stay in the Langhe Monferrato region.

The owners are extremely nice and so so welcoming. The place is beautiful and walking distance from the center of novello. It was a great experience. They suggested us a wine tasting just next door and it was the best one we did in all week end. They were really interested in us having the best stay ever and very helpful with advice. Super recommended!

Only one small thing - the smell of synthetic air fresheners in the rooms. It was overwhelming for me and I had to remove a unit and put it away.

This is a wonderful B&B in Novello, with a lovely terrace overlooking the valley. The breakfast is excellent and we took it each morning on the terrace to enjoy the views. The converted abbey is beautiful and it was nice to stay in a building with beautiful architecture and a sense of history. The parking onsite was great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, we would stay there again if we come back to Novello.

The pool is very small and the outdoors cannot compete with some of the lush and green agriturismos we have stayed at in the past. But we knew this in advance: we opted to stay here anyway because it is located right in the village (as opposed to in the middle of nowhere, where most agriturismos are situated) and therefore we didn’t need to use our car to go for dinner for the full 4 days we stayed there.

Excellent stay in wonderful area. This place has everything you need for a great stay at a reasonable price. It is situated in an excellent location to explore the Langhe area (very close to Barolo and La Morra). Moreover Novello is a beautiful little town itself, and the hotel is in 2 min walking distance to the centre with a few nice dinner options. The outdoors has a small plunge pool to cool off and some loungers with a great view over the valley and the sunset. We booked the large room with balcony which was great. Hostess / owner is very friendly and makes a nice complementary breakfast in the mornings. Free parking on site. Tip: I rented an electric bike at a facility nearby (Novello Bikesquare) to discover the area. Would come back here!

    Too short stay ;)

Spacious room located in well restructured old abbey run by passioned owner in the hearth of Langhe area is the best to start understanding of barolo wines. Breakfast (salty and sweet) from the local products made at home with passion is the cherry on the top. And to have chance rest on the terrace, enjoying breathtaking view or cool down in the small pool helps a lot to say - YES we want to return.

As soon as we arrived and saw the breathtaking views from our rooms (3&4), we knew it will be a special trip for our family. The first night, we walked up the hills into town (oohing and ahhing as Americans not used to charm overload do) and had an amazing dinner. The village of Novello is located near Barolo, which made it easy to drive around the country roads and take in the views. We were sorry to leave. The sisters who run the place were friendly, cheerful. Mariana is an accomplished baker.

Hosts were really solicitous, friendly and helpful, Novello is a lovely village that is less full of tourists than others in the area. The ginger cat was a special bonus and the cellar with the vaulted brick arches was splendid. Recommend room with balcony for extra views of mountains and veg garden, and vaulted ceiling

The wifi seemed to have some troubles with connecting. Otherwise, all was great.

A wonderful room in an old abbey. We had the room with the small balcony. Beautiful views. A nice place to sit at the end of a day of wine tasting. The rooms are large and spacious. Breakfast is served downstairs in a beautifully restored part of the abbey. Lots of food, and fresh. And the team that run it are excellent. Providing help and guidance. Car parking right at the door. Novello too is a very nice town. Far quieter than Barolo with some great restaurants and superb views.
