We are farmers ourselves and the farm animals all seemed to be well cared for but the donkeys looked very thin and neglected. One had a very serious eye infection.

Very peaceful. It was nice to be out in the country and see the animals and hear the birds sing. Good meal at their restaurant.

This was our second time visiting the property. It has an amazing location, beautiful scenery, and cozy charming vibe and decor.

This property is a working farm. Our favorite part was the beautiful surroundings. The staff created a gorgeous charcuterie board for us complete with wine from their own vineyard. We ate it under a bower of blooming orange trees that smelled delicious. The breakfast was great and we also had dinner in the small farm restaurant. The rooms were in a pretty villa. We enjoyed walks around the farm grounds.

The room was huge and we were grateful for the space, but it could do with some filling furniture, perhaps a small sideboard or another comfy chair.

It is exceptional to know that everything is made on site using ingredients from the farm or nearby. My favourite thing was having fresh ricotta curds to go on my toast.

Nothing - all amazing.

Although it is out in the country, down a long road, it is a very short drive away from historic Gerace, a hill-top little town with immense views, and Locri which is a lovely working town on the coast. We went to Gerace, Locri and other interesting places very often, regularly in the evening. The pool was a wonderfully clean and peaceful respite from the heat and the breakfasts were amazing (all locally sourced food and milk from the farm, their own yogurts and fig jams and honey and different homemade cakes and fruit tarts each morning). Our room was spacious and cleaned very regularly with fresh towels etc and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant, which is attached to the place, cooked delicious food such as antipasti of local olives/cheeses/salami/chickpea salad/fritters and homemade pasta in aubergine sauce and breadcrumbed pork skewers - which we ate on tables beneath fruit trees. What a shame we only had cabin luggage and couldn't take back the olive oil and cheeses from the farm! We would love to return one day - what a truly wonderful week we had. THANK YOU!

Probably one of the most favourite places we have stayed. A very quiet relaxing environment with views of rolling mountains and fruit trees. The restaurant was beyond delicious and had all the food and products made in house. We were able to walk through the orchard and visit all the animals on the farm. Staff were so kind and welcoming.

Room cleanliness left a little to be desired and we had to ask for more soap on our 5 day stay as they only provided 2 bottles on arrival. Also, when we checked in to the property we were not given a tour of the property or informed of the facilities such as the restaurant, shop or that they kept animals on the property. We found this out from other reviews and explored ourselves.

The place was beautiful in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature and a beautiful pool. But the best part was the food. Everything fresh from farm to fork. Definitely recommended. The property also has a shop where you can buy their products to take home.

Hard to find staff, but they were responsive by email.

Great location, beautiful pool and view. Really enjoyed having the restaurant on site. The kids liked visiting all of the animals and buying gelato from their on-site store. Also, there's a very large sitting room with lots of books on the area's history. Breakfast choices were limited, but delicious and all sourced or made on the farm.
