The venue is amazing! Spectacular views, nice large rooms, comfy beds! They went out of their way to make us very comfortable! Fantastic to have wine tasting on the property! Wine and the cheese are very good! We will be back in the warm weather to take advantage of their pools, they look very inviting! The ladies in the breakfast room were terrific as well!

Was wonderful view and nice building. Swimming pool was cold(early of Oct.), but I was ok to swim(but not for my partner) We ate dinner near town. We tried wine tasting and was nice, and breakfast was also great. if you prepare shower filter, couldn't be better!

The pillows were way too hard. The bed was a bit lumpy as well.

We had the most amazing stay at Palazzo Massaini La Pieve. The location is stunning, and so relaxing. Rooms are of great size, and staff is extremely welcoming. They had the best recommandations of restaurants and other experiences in the area. Don’t miss out on their local wine tasting, it’s worth it!

We found the perfect place to stay during our week-long trip to Tuscany. The hotel was clean and cozy, and the pool and garden were wonderful for watching the sunset with a glass of the hotel's own wine. Breakfast was delicious and served on the terrace with a great view. Highly recommended!

Great location close to Pienza and other towns in the Val D’Orcia, as well as Podere il Casale cooking class and Fabbrica winery. Easy to drive between all of these places. Beautiful glass of vermintino wine on arrival. Room simple but tastefully furnished, and very clean. Fantastic and generous breakfast. Helpful staff.

The location of La Pieve is perfect for anyone looking to relax but also have the opportunity to do some exploring in Tuscany. The rooms were rustic but clean. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The shared spaces were thoughtfully designed and comfortable.

Outside seating at night; there were lovely areas but they were under cover. Chairs were provided in one area, but hard to access in the dark.

Rooms were excellent, in small units with a communal full kitchen (fridge was a bonus) and dining area for guests use, in addition to tea and coffee facilities in room. Breakfast was good and on an outside verandah with views, staff accommodating. Swimming pool great, with superb views. Would stay there again. Short drive to the lovely small town of Pienza.

The staff at Palazzo Massaini were great, we were very warmly welcomed and they were friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms and grounds are beautiful, the pool area, sunset and the views are particularly special. We had everything we needed on site to cook simple meals, which was really helpful, but you are also only minutes from Pienza and Monticchiello - two of my favourite towns I've visited! The breakfast provided was delicious, lots of choice and set on a lovely terrace. Thank you Palazzo Massaini, for a wonderful stay!

We loved everything: - perfect location where you can admire all the wonderful landscape on Val d’Orcia; - the staff so nice and helpful with all the information we needed (I want to say a special thanks for the amazing surprise we found in our room) - the wines experience available where you can delight yourself with the delicious homemade wine and local food - the quiet around. It’s a perfect escape trip from the big cities - breakfast!!!!! I am a big fan of buffet 😋

Air conditioning would be very much appreciated, because we didn't sleep well because of the heat. And we would appreciate it if they would give us some fresh towels when they came to clean the room.

The only thing we didn't like is that the pool closed at 8pm before sunset. During summer, the time can be extended to 8h30 or 9h00.

Peaceful bliss just outside of the town of Pienza!! Excellent location, very comfortable accommodation, nice pool! We even saw deer. :) You can taste and buy wine at the Palazzo. They also make their own cosmetics on the property and there is a shop! Lovely products!
