The location and B&B had been highly recommended by a friend, and we were not disappointed. Our very clean room was a good size with plenty of light. It had a balcony and a stunning outlook over to the lake across a private garden that belongs to the B&B and is for the use by its guests. The breakfast was outstanding and the host, Massimo, is very obliging and helpful. We hope to stay here again!

Nothing to complain about. The town gets busy with day trippers but this is not a big issue.

Massimo and family are charming and courteous hosts who have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. He is a mine of information on things to do in the local area from sightseeing to hiking and eating out. Orta is a beautiful small town and the property is right at the centre of things with restaurants and cafes a short walk away, as well as ferries to other towns across the lake. There are both easy and more difficult walks to undertake from the door. And the Sacre Monte is a site of architectural interest at the summit of the hill behind.

The B&B is directly at the lake and the view is spectacular. Massimo and his team are great hosts and the breakfast is very good. The room is very beautiful and clean, the bathroom was amazing.

B&B Al Dom is in a fantastic location and everything about the place was faultless. We can't think of anything that we'd change. The room was enormous and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great and the care and consideration from Massimo and his wife was impeccable. A fantastic stay - we can't wait to return.

Unfortunately, it was too hot outside to have the heat on. Which meant I had to open the windows to keep the temperature of the room comfortable. I feel bad given the high cost of energy here in Italy..

The breakfast had a sufficient amount of protein and cheese, as well as an assortment of fruit, yoghurts and breads, sweets to round out a balanced start to the day

This is the 4th time I have stayed here. I would only choose this hotel for an Orta San Giulio stay. Everything about the hotel is top notch. You will not find a more charming, accommodating, lovely location with amazing views! Great breakfast! Owner will pick you up from the train station or meet you at the parking area to drive you to the hotel. Grazie mille, Massimo!

The host Massimo was kind and very helpful he took great care of us. The room was very comfortable, very clean , and had a wonderful view of the lake and hills. Breakfast was very nice with much more than we needed. The garden and terrace on the lake were well kept perfect place to relax. Short walk to the main piazza many restaurants and shops.

Rooms are large and extremely comfortable with views out over the lake. The accomodation is right in the heart of the town but still very peaceful and quiet. Amazing, friendly hosts. Very nice breakfast. Will definitely return!

A beautifully restored house, with all the period features you might expect. Grand hallway, shutters, stunning gardens and more. A wonderful place for a small wedding! The lake views are exceptional. Massimo is a fantastic host.
