The front window didn’t close properly so you could hear some noise from the street, which for us wasn’t a problem.

Not really a dislike, but this is not a high fashion apartment. It is decorated with an ocean theme. It won’t win any design awards but it is comfortable.

Location is right on the water front - perfect spot. There is some major road construction next to the building but we were never bothered by it. Apartment is well stocked if you want to make meals. Washing machine was a good feature - be careful if you only do a small load; we came back to find it had “walked” across the bathroom floor!

There is nothing we need to mention. If we would have had a problem, I am sure, Marco would have helped us immediately.

Marco is very kind and helpful. It was easy to get in touch (English language) and hand-over of keys was perfect. The appartment in Rapallo is perfect for a romantic holiday of couples. Its located in the old town in 20m distance to the inner harbour, direcly in view of the old castle, so every days first and last view is on the Mare mediterraneo. Its in 5-10min distance to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the train station (we came with the direct train from Milano). The "kitchen" part is very small, but nobody should start to cook in the presence of so many excellent restaurants anyway! We were a bit afraid the street in front of the appartement would be rather loud and in fact it is, at least during daytime, but the windows are soundproof and we slept very well.

Traffic noise, which was inevitable because of the location, however it did not bother us much at all

The location of this apartment is superb. you are literally outside the door, into the heart of Rapallo with the amazing promenade & seafront directly in front of you and the lovely back streets full of people and shops and restaurants. we loved our stay. our host Marco could not do enough to help and was on hand for everything we needed. Lots of helpful advice from him. Amazing view from the balcony, we loved watching the world go by. Lots of great restaurants very close by. Lovely ferry trip to Portofino, ferry terminal is across the road.

Everything was wonderful, just as described here, everything worked properly and our host made sure we had everything we needed. Absolutely gorgeous view from the window, and it's right in the center close to the sea. Special thanks for the washing machine, strong air conditioning, hair fan, coffee machine with coffee, and all the amenities we had. Loved that the towels sets were different colours, super useful!

Marco is a really great host! He told us where to park in Rapallo for free, recommended some places in Portofino and we could use his help any time needed. The apartment is in a perfect location - next to the sea, castle ruins, restaurants, shops. Inside we could find antyhing we needed - coffee machine, hair dryer, washing machine, glasses, etc. Really recommend this place!

This is a very noisy apartment. Traffic out front is a major street, and motorcycles don’t stop until 2 am. They start again at 7 am. We were never able to connect to WiFi and host was unresponsive to correct that. The property pictures are far better than the property. The “balcony” overlooking the sea is tiny, no chairs, and no room for chairs. Only one shutter opens as the other is blocked by a piece of furniture. Given the exhaust from traffic, we wouldn’t have used it anyway. Local host was poor.

We were told to buy our own toilet paper after we ran out of the half roll we were given for 3 nights. We were also told we’d be charged €50 if we left any trash in the room, which was not anywhere in the description. The air conditioning was no strong enough to cool the upstairs so we could not sleep on the bed and ended up sleeping on the pull out couch downstairs.

Nice location. The woman who helped us get in and assisted with parking was great.

The stairs were steep to get to the bedroom.

Great location, secure and fairly spacious. Spectacular view and only metres from the train station. Plenty of amazing restaurants to eat at each night with a big supermarket around the corner. The ferry terminal was close by. The apartment was clean enough with small cooking facilities if needed.
