The breakfast was rather disappointing, as it was advertised as 'good breakfast'. It was adequate but lacking in any variety over 3 days we stayed, and choice. eg no fresh fruit or natural, unsweetened yoghurt or boiled eggs. The bread did not always seem very fresh either. The accommodation is a B&B and it does feel like it belongs to the couple who live there, rather than the freedom of a hotel.

There is an amazing view from the property. It already sits on an upper level street, and you need to take the lift to the 6th floor. The property has beautiful old furniture and is well cared for. Remarkably central for the historical city and port.

It needed proper air con as the room was very hot. Also there was no signage on the building (and it is on the 12th floor) so it took us ages to find it when we arrived.

The location is very central and the views are amazing.

The household didn’t give us the keys or a code to access the bnb, they stayed up until late to open the doors. Given that is not an hotel, this made us feel uncomfortable because we felt self conscious about our returning home time schedule.

The city of Genoa is amazing. Full of old-style buildings and a south Europe architecture. It is constructed in separate vertical levels. From one street to the other, there are multiple heights. The higher apartment in one street is below the street level on the other street. Simply amazing. The apartment is situated in a building in one of those streets, but on the higher side (at the 7th floor). The view over the city is simply breathtaking. The room is quite large and our small family - me, my wife and kid + small dog slept perfectly. On this room there is a private bathroom with hot water, with sufficient pressure. Even the bathroom has another breathtaking view over the city :). The room deco is in old style but if you are traveling just for site seeing is perfect for this. The breakfast is quite simple but considering the price it is sufficient. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about the city and more importantly they love pets. For the parking, the owner will assist you on arranging a parking card with an adjusted price. The building has an elevator. The experience on this room was really good and I would repeat it. To be honest, after our trip to different cities, we did loved Genoa with the small streets of the old city, crowed avenues and the sensation that the new buildings are mixed with the old city in a vertical peculiar arrangement... To end with a very important point, the hotel is situated near the city center/old city, and it is served by all type of restaurants nearby.

Perfect location, amazing views, very good breakfast. Very good for a couple days in Genoa. The best receptionist, very helpful, even though we hardly speak any Italian.

The bed could use a topper to make it a bit softer. An extra pillow would also be a good addition. Overall I slept well!

The B&B was very clean and had a really classic Italian interior. The view from our room was breathtaking. We could see all over Genova.

Great view from balcony! It was really authentic and oldschool hotel (in good way). Breakfast was included in price and was delicious. Hotel staff was very helpful, really nice people. Though they didn't speak much english, but it was not a problem. Recommended!

Our room was very small, and no airco, ok we knew that, but fan made really loud noice and took space in the little room.
