The property is located in the Sulmona town center and there is a public parking area a short distance away from the B&B. The B&B is part of a historic building and our room, lovely and well kept, retained these features of a bygone era. Likewise for the indoor breakfast area. There is also a roof terrace, accessible only to guests at any time of the day, where one can enjoy quite a view of Sulmona with surrounding mountains in the background. Both the host, Marta, and her staff were professional but quite friendly and available to accommodate the guests' needs.

Gorgeously decorated and spacious room with many extra amenities. Our host.. very hospitable, especially regarding logistics of car unloading and pkg, as hotel was located in the centro storico. Breakfast was delicious and although it was too cool to eat on the roof terrace, we went up there to sit a bit and take in the stunning views of the old city/surrounding mountains from this lush rooftop garden the owner/host has created.

Everything was perfect!

The breakfast was amazing- Marta even made sure my husband had scrambled eggs- The B&B was spotlessly clean and furnished just beautifully. The location was on a quiet street but very close to everything. Our stay was just much too short- thank you, Marta!

Really didn’t “dislike” anything. But a couple suggestions: Our room was on the cool side. It would be nice to have a second chair in bedroom.

Breakfast was good. Option for adding an egg. Well organized. Rooftop patio was awesome. Marta is wonderful with ideas for seeing the best parts of Sulmona and surrounding areas. Great shower.

Nothing could have been better!

Marta was a gracious host and made us feel welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay. We had plenty of privacy, and were able to enjoy a delicious breakfast each morning with some of the other guests. The location is perfect for walking anywhere in the village, also for free and safe parking nearby. The charming town itself, the beautiful surrounding area and Marta, along with her attentive and helpful staff, made for a wonderful stay.

Second time at this magnificent B&B. This time we stayed in the most wonderful ground floor room with exposed brickwork and vaulted ceilings. Comfortable bed and great shower. Marta is a fabulous host and was most helpful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Everything was just right. The downstairs bedroom was a little cool when we arrived but when the heating came on at 18.00 it felt warm and cosy all evening and night.

Great location to explore Sulmona. For breakfast there was a huge and varied choice and all very good, well served and in a delightful room with other guests.

It wasn't an issue for us, but the hotel is in the old city so the parking is not near the hotel. You drop the bags and then go to the parking 5 minutes from the hotel (free parking!)

Great comms with Marta, the owner. Being the first guests to arrive we were offered and shown 3 different rooms all of which were quite different and beautifully furnished.

We loved everything but if there is anything we would feel like suggesting is maybe to provide even some basic slippers to the guests of the ground floor room as the shower and bathroom floors are made of cobblestones and tend to be quite cold and humid during winter.

The room was spacious, very elegantly furnished and quite unique in its architecture with a double rib vault ceiling and stone walls. The ground floor access made it a bit more exposed to the coming and going of the tenants of the building but it always feel like a cosy nook. Breakfast was well assorted and served in a lovely little room once equipped with cold cuts and offal hanging racks. The rooftop terrace, where we understood breakfast is served in the summertime, is absolutely spectacular in the views it offers and represents something quite unique in Sulmona. Marta was a very good host and made us feel at home before we even arrived to the location.
